The main thing to remember about is the season has not finished yet and the transfer window has not even opened. Stamping your feet saying how come we havent signed this player and that player is stupid until we know exactly who Rafa is signing. Up until now, everything is speculative.

Heard Ballague talking yesterday saying that Barry would be our BIGGEST SIGNING of the summer which hardly fills me with optimism. However I dont take what Ballague has to say as gospel because if you believed him then Forlan would have been our star striker this season.

I'd like to see a better keeper becuase seriosuly I don't actually rate Reina as highly as most of you as a shot stopper if you compare him to Cech or Van der Sar
Also a new right and left defender, plus right and left wingers and another striker with Babel moved to a strikers position for next season.
If we get all of those things and I'm talking about quality here then we have a chance, the priority though has to be too great wingers who can come forwards and maybe score a few bloody goals!

Rafa said before the start of the season something about how he would rather have 4 or 5 players scoring 10 than a couple of players scoring 20. This season apart from Torres and Gerrard none of our players have hit double figures (league), with Babel and Crouch proving to be best of the rest with 5 apiece. Benayoun got 4 and Kuyt brought up the rear with a less than prolific 3 (2 pens and one off his knee)

I think you are right mate we certainly need either a couple of wingers who are a little more prolific or maybe a creative second striker who can knock in 10/15 while still allowing gerrard to still get his fair share, with a winger who can match him. Then maybe you could afford to play Barry on the other wing adding balance and a few goals.

I know what your on about when it comes to Reina, he scares the hell out of me sometimes, but like all keepers they have their bad times and good times, though i have to say, i think Reina has more good than bad.

Maybe next season we will have to look at Keepers i dont think its something we need to focus on for now.

Another thing with Van Der Sar is that he aint no spring chicken, and Man U will have to be in the market for a second keeper. I remember seeing this guy play in the 1994 world cup, and he was first choice back then....

Yeah he's only kept the most number of clean sheets in the League for the third year in a row. ???
