Why am I a disgrace, my post was actually positive and looking to the future, I honestly don't care about the next 2 games, they have no importance to the club whatsoever!

Oh was it the fact that I blasphemed and said something wrong about our great tactical genius and saviour that is Rafa, oh I'm going straight to hell for that one, but then I guess DIC will as well when they replace him  :D

He's been here close to 2 years , anyone knows why he hasn't  been banned yet? for the sake of comedy i take it?

The last 2 games are completely meaningless for us now.  Obviously it'd be nicer to win them than lose them, but I'd be thinking about giving Nemeth, Plessis and Insua decent run-outs in both games.  None of the other reserves are ready and/or good enough to be used as first team players next season, but these three are and I'd be using the opportunity to play them - Nemeth hasn't even had a minute of first team football yet, and with his performances for the reserves the lad deserves a first team debut before the season's out.

again i totally dis-agree, every game we play is fecking
important!! i take it you won"t be at the game. however
fecking thousands of us will be, & the way you put it across
is fecking wrong! or am i wasting my hard earnt money
going the game against man city! feck sake every game
matters to me,right to the end of every season,we win
together, we lose together or does that just apply when there
is a semi- final to win!! feck sake iv"e followed this great club
of ours over the years enough now, & learn"t the history
& what makes this club bigger & better than any other
club, that every game is as important as the one before,
we need to start with the strongest team possible to
win  in this game then maybe, hopefully when the game is
won early on, then give some of the fringe/ reserve players
a go, but to play them from the start is totally wrong
imho becuase it would put un-nessasary pressure on them
to perform after our defeat, also i for one would love the
opportunity to sing & thank the first team players, for their
effort, commitment & desire throughout the season, which
has been bloody difficult, they have shown great team
spirit not just in recent weeks, but throughout, & i am
proud to be a fan of this great club, with all the cr@p
going on behind the scenes i don"t just think, i know
we are, & always will be a force to be reckoned with
not just on the field, but off it aswell!!! & that"s why
i hope raffa will start the game with the players that
deserve our thanks,& finish the season on a winning note!

i'll be there, and considering we can't improve or decline on fourth, I'd like to see plenty of the youngsters given a go.

2-1 Liverpool.
1) You'll Never Walk Alone
2) pass and move is the Liverpool groove
3) FIRST WILL ALWAYS BE FIRST AND SECOND WILL ALWAYS BE NOTHING.
4) If Torres has scored 60 league goals for Liverpool by the start of the 2011/12 season, I'll say he's better than Owen.

hmmm CB, interesting position at the youth level for us. Of course as mentioned above, Hobbs is out on loan to Scunthorpe United, who have already been relegated and they only have one game left in their season (does that mean he would be available for Spurs?). Since I have already started with players on loan, might as well do the whole breakdown of the position at the club. Also on loan is Ghanian born Spaniard, Goodwin Antwi, who turns 20 in the summer, and was a key player for the first youth cup winning team. Last year, shortly after captaining the ressies in a game, he was sent on loan at Accy Stanly for the second half of the season and now he is at League One side Hartlepool United, where (last time I checked) he had been playing regularly. He is player of good size, but needs to grow into it much like Plessis (maybe he has, haven't seen him in a while).  The other CB on loan is Spaniard Miki Roque, who also turns 20 in the summer. He was on the first youth cup winning team, and is on loan to Xerez, a Spanish segunda team, don't see him at the club much longer.
So Centre Backs that are still here:
Mikel San Jose - turns 19 at end of the month, on bench against Chelsea in the league, also plays a bit of holding midfield

Big Ronald Huth - 2" taller and 5 months younger, and been at the club 6 months longer than San Jose. Can't really tell the difference between them as far as their performance in the reserves this year. Big Ron is a little more lively on set pieces.

Young Dani Ayala - 17 years old, held in very high regard, fcuked up badly in his last reserve game, but of late they have been movie san jose to holding midfield to accommodate for young Dani Ayala

Martin Kelly - 18 years old, doesn't play much. Can also play as a right back

BIG Joe Kennedy - 17 years old, more of a U18 player right now but he is HUGE.

I think its quite humorous that anyone that is big is called big and then whatever their name is and same with promising young players get called "young dani pacheco" like its part of their name

Overall, not overly impressed with anybody in the stable, long term best shot is Hobbs, then Ayala, but if you wanted a suggestion for City, San Jose would get the nod.

Cheers. I've heard of Godwin Antwi, not least because he appears, as do some of the players, on CM games! I guessed some of the kids were out on loan, suggests maybe we have too many in the overall squad if they aren't needed by Liverpool. It might be great loaning out the best talents to play a decent level of football, but aren't players like Hammill and Anderson playing at a relatively low level? That doesn't bode too well although Beckham was loaned out to somewhere like York early in his career.

And redhaysey, we get you don't think the last two games are a write-off, but others do. Are you going to jump down the throat of anyone who suggests they are meaningless? They are, by definition so get over it, we can't move up or down the league so have no meaning in the bigger picture. We can use them to try things and players, but that doesn't give them meaning. Doesn't matter if we win, lose or draw other than personal pride.

Why rest players?

Last game at Anfield, Rafa said Torres and Skrtl are fine. Interesting to see that Harry Kewell is back in training as well. May make the bench.

Don't see the point in playing Kewell at all. don't care how many goals he scores or sets up in the next two weeks, he isn't going to do enough to earn a contract AND its not like we can even show that he is healthy and still go it to impress teams that want to buy him, because he will be on a free. I say we play Gerardo Bruna down the left, unless he is out on Spanish youth duty, other than him I can' think of any talented left footed players in the squad. FFS he was apparently called the "Messi of Madrid" that alone is enough for me to play him in a 1st team game of no REAL significance. If he is unavailable I guess you can stick Riise out there.
Reina (he has is eye set on playing every minute of the season)
Finnan       Carra               Hyypia       Insua
Pennant      Gerrard         Plessis          Bruna
                 Torres          Nemeth
Subs: Martin, San Jose, Spearing, Lindfield, Babel

Would like to see a couple of youngster playing alongside 9 other first-teamers. Something like this
Reina

Arbeloa
Carragher
Skrtel
Insua

Mascherano
Plessis
Kuyt
Babel
Gerrard

Torres

Its more worthwhile to see how the kids play as part of the actual first team rather than lumping 4 or 5 along with a bunch of bit-part players
