you sure ? How do you know That?

Valencia is resting in 16th place just above relegation with class players. Don't you think that players like Villa, Joaquin, Silva etc want to play in europe? We are Poolencia for :censored: sake. Who has a better chance than us in getting them to join our team?

Rafa also has good connections with Valencia.

Yes I think Players like Villa, silva and joaquin as well as many others will like to play in Europe. But it does not imply "many players leaving the club" and joinning liverpool Lfc for instance. Which seems a very spreed  comment (Valencia should  not being understimated) .Valencia is really f*** up at this moment, but still a big club and with all my respect , is very unrealistic  to think Half of Valencia team leaving Valencia mad  for joining LFC, Do not make me wrong but I can not see more than a couple of top players leaving valencia, and maybe one of them going abroad.(Italian calcio also exits! and juan de Ramos! and Chelsea! and Arsenal!).
Rafa knows very well Spanish football and players of course, but  he has many less connections than people usually think in England trust me. However, I really would like to see Silva playing for LFC.Joaquin will never leave Spain and Villa will play for Madrid or Barcelona as first choices. What make special and attractive LFC to Spanish football players is not only Benitez (what it is usually said) and Benitez knows that perfectly His greatest achievement in this sense has been  to make LFC very atracctive to Spaniard players in a very, very intelligent way since his first season in England and as part of a long term plan, this is obvioulsly my very personnal opinion

"David villa has said no To Juan de Ramos. Is waiting for a Real Madrid phone call.

surely Valencia would rather sell to an English club than to Real Madrid, wouldn't they?

No necessarily.I guess if Madrid want to carry on on this business some other Real Madrid players will be involved in the negotiation and that is much easier between the two la liga clubs in this case in terms on tranfers.
However I am in a doubt Benitez really wants to sing in David Villa to be honest. It is very well known in Spain and confirmed in Liverpool (in some senses) that Benitez never liked to manage a team with many "cracking" players, His personal taste is a very solid , hardworking "middle class" players.
Benitez is still asked for that in every single interview he concedes to Spain media and he carries on avoiding it...
I hope Liverpool sign in two more top class football players for next season as I really think is the only thing liverpool needs to be on top of the table.

to say the least i would buy a couple of wingers choosing from this lot:
1.)quaresma what can i say quite a good player that i think might live up to potential
2.)simao, we seem to have quite a good relationship with athletico madrid
3.)joaquin and/or vicente, poach both of them off struggling valencia :P, vicente is second team now anyways!, so mayb even easier
4.)emanuelson, can play left and cm so a helpful little duel player, played with babel might work well
5.)schweinsteiger, underused player for bayern munich
6.)samir nasri, what can i say ruddy marvelous
7.)rothen from paris saint germain, mayb quite cheap considering how awfully psg this season
8.)ribery, a man can dream cant he!!?!

Reina

Skrtel/Alves       Carra         Agger       Lahm

Gerrard       Barry         Mascherano        Silva

                Torres        Babel

Bring in lahm as a left back rumored at 10 million , alves whom we were interested in and the same for david silva and also push babel uptop , i would sign lennon , keane and arshavin for substitutes and rotation , maybe even zarate

Ive heard of that Zyrianov lad before hes supposed to be good. Do you think they are all Premirship top 4 team quality?

Back to Valencia do you think it may be worth trying for Joaquin again ahead of Bently?

I think that Arshavin especially would improve our team, because he's a creative wide player who is very versatile.  He'd certainly be an improvement over any of our wide players.  I also rate Zyrianov, but he's around 30 now, so it could be too late for a move.  And Pogrebniak in my opinion has massive potential and he'd make a great backup for Torres and maybe even a partner, but he seems to work better as a lone striker.  The guy has a very big figure and yet he's excellent on the ball, he reminds me of Drogba.

I think that Joaquin though is a risk because he's been off form for a long time now.  If he could regain his Betis form then he'd be excellent.  I remember when he used to rip teams apart with his skills, but now he rarely pules off any successful moves.  It seems that the guy has lost the hunger and I doubt that a move would really help him.  Anyway, I don't think that Rafa will want to get him now, Silva would be a much more realistic option.

I think Barca will try and keep a very tight grip on Messi

Though we are looking for a player like him, a player who in a split second can create pure magic. A joe cole, ronaldo, lionel messi, ronaldinho, zidane, ribery.

Yes we have Gerrard who often is that person, but he is the backbone, who so often this season has been pre-occupied with the weak points of the squad that he hasnt always been able to deliver the magic.

A great winger who drifts in, like those good players i have named,  is just what the doctor ordered.
