Not quite manager extrordinaaire, but not that far from it in my humble opinion.

Last five seasons the mans teams have been in four finals and won three of them.

For me that gets him a little more respect than he gets from people on here who ARE NOT managers but knew (somehow) that he should have made this change and brought this guy on at this time.

World club championship/ League cup final/ Champs League final .... there's 3 he didn't win ?

I was thinking after Torres was substituted, 'Lakes, Rock and Heimdall will be onto this, make no mistake..'.  :D

Same here. I didn't expect though that once the reason was explained some would question that Rafa's words were true.

Sometimes it seems as if it wasn't Rafa who brought Torres despite the doubts of most of the people here on Spain. It seems as if people think that Rafa doesn't realise Torres is bloody important.
Under normal circumstances Rafa would want to play Torres always, if he doesn't there must be a good reason, like injury. That's the most logical thinking, but the mantra about chopping and changing is so deeply rooted in some posters that they actually believe Rafa takes that decissions randomly.

Well im sure if we had won league cup, it wouldnt have been considered a major trophy by those wanting Rafa gone.

Hey for some people a couple of short months ago the Champions league was bit of mickey mouse cup as well
