Agree he is likely to re-sign. More importantly, he will re-sign on the club's terms.

Michael is a great lad, and a special talent. But he's picked his strike partner for some time, and extended Heskey's career at LFC longer than his performances warranted.

I think the new manager sent him a strong message that reputations dont count, and that he's prepared to let him sit it out on the bench for the good of the team.

I have enormous faith in our prospects under Benitez. This is exactly the sort of manager we were desperate for.

This team will be better for 3 strikers of the calibre of Owen, Cisse and Baros fighting it out for 2 positions, than the latter two fighting it out as to who will partner Owen up front.

I cant wait until the weekend!!! Go the Reds!!!
