What top stars are going to want to come to a club in turmoil? What player doesn't feel uneasy at the thought that if they sign for Benitez he may soon be gone, and then maybe the new manager may have different ideas about style of play and the players he needs.
Its bad enough that the clowns have made our club a laughing stock by their constant bickering in the press, but we now hear that players are being bought on short term credit. Its no wonder H&G were panicking when it looked like we were going to take an early exit from the CL !
I would willingly sacrifice a CL FINAL if it meant long term stability was returned and these clowns were shown the door. Whats the point of having a great season and winning the double if your club is not going to be there next season or the players that gave you such a great season have to be sold.
So you're saying all this bollox has had some impact on our play on the pitch this season?
I would imagine that up to now its been more of an unwanted distraction for the players rather than having a real effect on our performances mate. I would think the loss of Pako was much more damaging performance wise. There is no doubt it may have though, and in my opinion will have if its not quickly sorted out. Certainly the longer it drags on and the more effect it will have.
Hopefully the article Ciggy has posted is correct and its all going to be sorted before too long. A fresh start with new owners and even the prospect of Parry staying doesn't seem too bad when set against what we have at the moment.
