Google " Isohunt " TH, I get all most of my movies via them.

cheers wolf but aren't torrents pretty slow , what do you use utorrent? bit torrent?

I use Utorrent TH. DL speeds obviously vary depending on the number of seeds available and your own connection,  on average TV shows take me 30-50 mins to DL and movies 2-4 hours.

With Newsgroups you download at full speed all the time, get the movies first and no virus' or other cr@p. No one has access to your computer, and as far as I know can't be traced. Tv show about 6mins to download, X-vids about 15-20 mins.

Right lads and ladies... need a bit of help here. I usually have Norton on my lap Top and on my computer. But my yearly sub has just finished. Due to being off work and not being able to afford to get a new Norton, I was wondering if there was anyone who knows of a free internet security that I can download??
At the moment the lap top is using Windows Defender but my big computer has nothing.

Any ideas??

thanks in advance!!

Thanks Saint. Your a star. Programme installed and running a scan as we speak.
The only problem I have now is Windows defender keeps telling that my firewall is off. Do I switch it on or does AVG have one??

Hi peeps a friend of mine has been in touch with a computer problem, would be grateful if any of you can pass on any idea`s or maybe a link or two.

The problem is his computer is switching on and off all the time, its not even staying on long enough for him to log into his account, he is running xp but not sure what version. his Dad rebooted last week but the problem still persists, a reboot was the first thing i was going to suggest untill he told me this, could it be a boot virus or is it likely to be hardware any help suggestions would be appreciated as he is dropping the pc off next week for me to take a look at.

if any of you need more info ill supply it once i have it.

thanks in advance JD
