Hargreaves available

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

Postby Ciggy » Thu Aug 12, 2004 9:19 am

England midfielder Owen Hargreaves could be on his way to the Barclays Premiership after Bayern Munich signalled their intention to sell him for the right price.

Tottenham are reported to be keen on the 23-year-old and they will have been encouraged by the comments of Bayern's general manager Uli Hoeness.

He is quoted in the Times as saying: "We have too many players. If an offer comes in, we'll let him (Hargreaves) go."

would we want him? ???

Liverpool do not need to add any quantity to the squad right now, we have done that for the last couple of years.

Now is the time to really push on and add some quality to the squad.

Xabi Alonso, Alexis, these are the type of players we should bring in, not half baked Canadiagerman wasters who cant even command a regular place.
