It is with the insufferable pride () of a father once again, that I would like to inform you that Sara and I have been blessed with the most beautiful baby girl on April 9th 1402 hrs, Doha time.
Ann Marion "ConnO'var" decided to join our little clan after 14 hours of labour.
She came fighting out of the RED corner weighing in at 7 and one half lbs.... Thankfully, she is the spitting image of her mother as if she'd looked like me, she'd have had no chance! I was somewhere over the Persian Gulf rushing back home, when she decided to grace us with her presence. When I finally got to the hospital I was greeted with 2 pairs of identical gray-green eyes and me boy standing guard over 'em both. I swear I almost passed out in relief and sheer happiness.
Both mother and daughter are doing well and are now at home settling into a routine I'd long forgotten.
Sara and I would like to sincerely thank all the well wishes and concern by posters in this thread as well as all the PMs we'd received. It was and is much appreciated. We could not be happier and bloody can't stop smiling at the mo..... Pathetic I know!![]()
The only downside to all this is that me mother-in-law is on the way down here!
Once again, thanks.
PS:
1. Judgey.... she doesn't look a bit like the milkman at all.... Thank God!
2. She's already decked out in LFC mittens and booties and a baby blanket is on the way from home. Another red to swell the ranks.
