I'm not 100% sure but I think so.

My tip though, is to see Skrtel or Hyypia dropped and Arebloa coming back in at right back with Carra being shifted back into the middle.

Edit...from Hyypua to Hyypia just to please Judge  :D

:bowdown football genius or what?

3-1. correct.
Arbeloa in for Hyypia. correct

Only 4-4-2 let me down.

too many ppl disagree with you so often that you find the need to promote yourself eh?  :D

I was thinking the same. In the first 15 mins, someone fizzled a ball through the air into Gerrard, and his first touch killed it dead. There the most basic skills people take for granted.

I will guarantee that if Chelsea beat Everton, Rafa will field a second string against Fulham with the Chelsea first leg only 3 days after.

Wait and see...........  :nod

no not at all, just I got it spot on (minus the formation) so I thought I'd let everyone know the wealth of my footballing knowledge. Which I might add in recent weeks has been as followed...

1) "Steve Bennett will send someone off in the L'pool United game"...correct.
2) "Dirk Kuyt should play against Arsenal in the first leg of the european cup"...Kuyt scored which proves my reason for saying he should play
3) "well you can see it work wonders against Arsenal in the league when we conceed from another set peice" that was to Bob in reference of zonal marking...Arsenal scored from a set peice so yet again I was correct.
4) "Torres and Crouch should play up front together from now until the end of the season" that was after the Arsenal league game, the following game they played up top together and we won 4-2...correct again
5) Today "3-1" correct "Arbeloa to come back into the side" correct.

Not bad really and people still disagree. Well if they wish to be proven wrong then let them do so  :D
1) You'll Never Walk Alone
2) pass and move is the Liverpool groove
3) FIRST WILL ALWAYS BE FIRST AND SECOND WILL ALWAYS BE NOTHING.
4) If Torres has scored 60 league goals for Liverpool by the start of the 2011/12 season, I'll say he's better than Owen.

A good performance and a deserved win, Gerrard was absolutely immense. He drove us on with that bit of interplay and run into the box which led to the first goal.

Torres, a neat and accurately placed header for the second, he's many a string to his bow, even off form he will always represent a threat.

Lucas, pretty good, Skrtel - poor positioning and awareness.

Other than that, not much else to comment on tbh, the ref's performance was probably a bit of a counteraction to the perceived favourable outcomes for us in the Arsenal games.

Can't say what hasn't already been said really.

Thought it was a professional job against difficult opposition.

It was always going to be a tricky game after such an energy zapping midweek game in Europe and the atmoshphere was a bit flat at Anfield today which doesn't help the players to lift there respective games one iota.

Gerrard was immense and was involved in all that we did well.

Lucas had one of his best games in a Liverpool shirt with his controlled passing.

Torres got one chance and converted it with a superb header, the guy is different class.

The only dissapointments was conceding a sloppy late goal to Santa Cruz (although it was a very good finish to be fair) and a couple of poor to average individual performances, from Skrtel and Ryan Babel.

However, incorrect today. Crouch didnt play with torres. It was back to the system.

Terrible atmosphere again or should i say lack of, embarrassing really when there was no response to the "where's your famous atmosphere" and especially the "one nil and you still don't sing". Controversial i know but i blame the oots indirectly, gone are the days when your average scouser always had enough money to go the game and have a pint after week in week out and maybe even take the kids ( the game not the pint). Cost me £54 today for a dad and lad this may not be much to some be to me and i suspect many others its a struggle, i have to weigh up which games i can afford and actually get tickets for. Its not even just the cost but also the availability and demand for tickets, i supose we have been victims of our own past success in this respect has led to a huge increase in the number of day trippers coming in for the weekend with money to burn who dont mind paying over the odds for a ticket, as for many its a one off. Im not trying to have a go at the ooters, and realise they bring a lot of much needed revenue into the club, but at what cost atmosphere wise? I was trying to figure out why the difference in atmosphere between some of the european games and your average run of the mill games like todays and okay some of it is going to be down to tradition and history blah blah blah but think maybe that the many scousers in my position give games like today a miss as a rule and save their money for those BIG games, and thus the atmosphere difference.

Benni Mccarthy and Warnock put in great performances, perhaps we should sign them?

Ooters are not scousers. Blame us indirectly all you like, as long as your arguments stand, we will never be blamed ! idiot.

:D

We were good today although we did look a little tired and I suppose that was to be expected after last Tuesday night. A good result against a good team and an important 3 points.

Masch couldn't play and got a good rest and Sami also got a rest and he'll need it as he WILL be playing against Chelsea

listen lad IMO there are 2 different kinds of ooters, those who like myself love the club and go the game at every opportunity, and those who are just on a weekend out , a p!ssup. i have no problem with the first which maybe i would class you as , but as for the second category i think there is a real possibility that this relates to the change in atmosphere over the years. Is this some kind of politically correct taboo subject i have touched on here or what ? many people feel as i do, this is not a RACE THING, its about those that love the club regardless of nationality , colour, creed etc, as opposed to the tourist doing the sights as they say, and i feel we are getting way to many of the latter and am not afraid to say it okay!
maybe it was my fault for not differentiating ooters as oppose to day trippers (for which i apologise ) but as for the rest screw you this is a debate that should not be taboo

p.s less of the "idiot"
