He ran and ran, but his poor first touch made him lose the ball so many times! he wasn't that good today, I disagree with you ciggs.

My tip though, is to see Skrtel or Hyypia dropped and Arebloa coming back in at right back with Carra being shifted back into the middle.

Edit...from Hyypua to Hyypia just to please Judge  :D

:bowdown football genius or what?

3-1. correct.
Arbeloa in for Hyypia. correct

Only 4-4-2 let me down.

Great result, even if we weren't at our best. Skrtel, worst game he's played for Liverpool, was really poor. Lucas played one of his better games for Liverpool. Substitutions worked wonders, Benayoun, Riise and Voronin all involved in the third goal.

Special mention to Torres getting his 30th goal. Wasn't his best game, but got one chance and scored, can't ask for more than that. Well done lad.
1) You'll Never Walk Alone
2) pass and move is the Liverpool groove
3) FIRST WILL ALWAYS BE FIRST AND SECOND WILL ALWAYS BE NOTHING.
4) If Torres has scored 60 league goals for Liverpool by the start of the 2011/12 season, I'll say he's better than Owen.

I thought the ref was appalling today, he had an absolute stinker. With another ref, we could of won 7-0.
A good team performance today though. We worked hard all over the pitch, and we were patient for the goal. I thought Lucas was good  and Alonso had improved but still nowhere near the player of 04-05. Gerrard once again was immense, this lad can really give King Kenny a run for his money as our greatest player.

Surprised the f'ucker didn't just put on a Blackburn shirt.

Or maybe he was trying to deflect some criticism of the decisions the press claim were given in our favour during the Arsenal trilogy, either way he was a f'uckin' muppett.

We also had 12 non-Dutch players today in case you hadn't noticed, some of them even scored  :D

I thought Gerrard and Lucas (when he came forward) were our two outstanding players today. Our subs seemed to do better but maybe Blackburn were tiring?

Kuyt worked hard but his poor control and lack of any pace was shown up at times. Skrtle seemed to go to sleep on a few occasions, but it was a difficult game for us today. Blackburn were quite physical and succeeded in frustrating us for long periods. We need a little more creativity if we are really going to challenge next season. I thought Alonso was poor, and half hearted today.

Every time Gerrard gets the ball he looks different class to the rest, not his best game but he worked hard and had the quality to make it pay. I thought Torres struggled today, but he still got his goal and should have had a penalty.

Ref was poor but could have sent Skrtle off so I suppose we have to be gratefull for that anyway.

Roberts was a moaning tw@t and should have been booked or sent off.

Anyone see Rafas post match comments? I was watching it at the gym so there was no sound for the game but I saw brifley on SSN when I got home that he was making some urgent comments in regards to the situation with the owners. Can someone enlighten me?

Happy enough with the performance and the result today.  Been on night shift so slept in and missed the first half.  From what I saw we were completely dominant and had it not been for the ref allowing Blackburn to kick lumps out of us we'd have won by an even bigger margin.

Skrtel was poor, should have been red carded and then got caught out of position for the goal we conceded at the end.  Also nearly let Roberts in when he should have hoofed it clear.  Still, I think he's a good player and he's entitled to the odd bad game.

Gerrard was excellent second half, they couldn't handle him, and Torres, although quiet, scored a fantastic header and made it look so easy.

We were never off to the races today but won comfortably enough thanks to great work from the usual suspects.  Well pleased with the result, especially as a European hangover was on the cards.  I think Chelsea will put the boot to Everton on Thursday and we should hopefully finish the job at Craven Cottage next Saturday.  Professional job done and another three points. :nod
