Self criticism is not being anti anything Bamaga. I usually speak of the things we do badly here in Spain and I reffer to those mistakes in similar way to John Craig does about his country. Despite all that, I love my country. I feel that the only way to go further as a country is learning from the mistakes, and self criticism is not being "anti" but the way to learn from mistakes.

My point? Andy G's. Do not discuss harshly about these things, it's just different ways to perceive a country and it's natural.

Read his posts before and he has always come accross as "anti-English". But if he doesnt like it and Voronin neither doesnt seem impressed, my answer is 'fu.ck off to both of them'

In all seriousness though, the 'anti-English' comments as you perceive them are tongue in cheek. If I was truly 'anti-English' then I wouldn't support an English football team would I? I'm also moving to England in August as I've accepted a job there, which again I'd hardly do if I was anti-English.

Stop trying to stir up trouble and just leave it.

How can it be "self critising" if the boy isnt even English ?

its not Sabre, I know the NHS is $hit, and that Germany probably do have more creature comforts I can except that.

But its not self critising is it, if Voronin and the pikey are mouthing off about this.

Fair enough Voronin may have be lost in translation or whatever, but as before soft lad was quick to show his bitterness towards the English.

Voronin though can pi$$ off anyway hes $hit, but when you have foreigners come to your country and especially bludge, then have the audacity to crititse it.

My answer is simple, f.uck back off to where you came from. A true example really of why England has gone downhill, because we let every tom dick or harry in and tell us what to do.

Ok, I Forgot John wasn't english, but anyway,

, the purpose of my post was to knock it down (I think it means do not fight), and relax a bit.

I honestly think we're on front of a case of a long interview, with lots of positive things about the atmosphere of Anfield etc, but just an interested and partial translation to make it seem an attack to the country.

The clarification response of Voronin is good enough for me. If it was truly the case of one guy slagging the country then ok, fúck off, but if it's been exagerated and taken out of context, then the lad is more a victim in this story than anything else.

Let's put it another way, people come here for a reason and it's a popular destination. Whether they benefit the existing population is debatable, maybe the businesses and rich, but not joe public.

As a rule of thumb, people don't mind their own thrashing their country but when a foreigner does it then it p*sses us all off.

Add to the equation that he is a cr*p footballer (what was Rafa thinking?) and earning 30k p/w and the average person is even more annoyed.

I'm amazed that he is only getting two English classes a week, I assumed they'd get a couple of hours every day, footballers have loads of free time.

Of course foreigners learn "the queens english" or whatever you want to call it, kind of like Hugh Grant, so the scouse accent,Geordie accent, Scottish etc would all be difficult to understand.

I was talking to a taxi driver at Heathrow last week and when I explained to the taxi where I wanted to go, the driver said into his radio "he's foreign"
