COME ON REDMEN!!!!!!

You know what the beauty of having Torres is. He can put on a clinic any game of the week. And if he does so tomorrow morning (Aus time) then we are 3/4 of the way to winning!

Cheers for the tip Nanny, will see how we go for time. Not sure if we'll be drinking in town or near the ground for this one and it will probably depend on the M6!

Gutted for ya mate but your'll just have to make sure you get a ticket for the semi-final!!! I reckon this one's going to Extra-Time and pens with us prevailing. I'm off to Canada tomorrow morning so if that happens i'll be back for 4am(ish) and then up at 7am for a taxi to Gatwick and a 12 flight!!!

Cmon u red men !!

Rafa's got a hard decision to make , play with crouch and they only way i see that happening is we revert back toa  4-4-2 formation or stick with the 4-5-1. Anywayz , i will go with the 4-4-2

Reina

Finnan          Carra          Skrtel          Riise

Kuyt            Masch         Gerrard        Babel

                  Torres         Crouch

2-0 .

If we play a 4-5-1

Reina

Finnan          Carra         Hypia      Riise

                   Masch       Alonso

Kuyt                                             Babel
                            Gerrard

                             Torres

I'd stick with skrtel in the 4-4-2 as we don't have 2 defensive mids so sami will be caught out with his lack of pace , whereas in the 4-5-1 i'd go with hypia as we have 2 defensive mids on

He's better then aurelio . End of and thats why he should play , defensively he's better

We went to the Emirates 1st leg, got a good result and now on the basis of a league game people want to change the personnel?!?!?!? Are these the same people who are/were sick of rotation? And to accommodate certain players people want to change the formation, the same formation that won eight out of ten games before the last game.

I think that many just want to change it to accommodate Crouch, because he has done really well against Arsenal.

Liverpool co-owner Tom Hicks will be back in Texas on Tuesday night as the Anfield men bid to reach the Champions League semi-finals.

Hicks spent much of last week in London, it is believed trying to raise funds in his ongoing battle for control of Liverpool with fellow owner George Gillett.

The American was at the Emirates Stadium last Wednesday to see the quarter-final first leg against Arsenal, and was again in the directors' box there on Saturday to witness the league clash between the clubs.

But Hicks has since flown home to Dallas to watch the opening match of his Texas Rangers baseball team's new season.

He will again be represented at Anfield on Tuesday night for the quarter-final second leg by his son Tom Jnr.

The last time Tom Jnr attended a match at Anfield was for the Middlesbrough game on February 23, when he went for a drink afterwards at the Sandon pub near the ground to meet fans.

It was reported that he was spat at, had beer thrown at him and needed to be rescued by minders.

Security at Anfield is expected to be tight on Tuesday night and it is unlikely that Hicks' son will try anything similar this time.

Hicks senior said in the Dallas Morning News of his decision to watch his baseball team: 'Opening day in baseball is like a national holiday.

'I would never miss our home opener, but I will have the Liverpool game on my TV. I saw two great games over there last week.'

The saga of the club's future ownership may well now not be decided until the end of the season.

Hicks held discussions with banks and financiers in London last week, and has now returned to the US seeking financial backing from banks there.

Dubai Investment Capital, the company who are trying to buy the club, have claimed to have already agreed a deal with Gillett, who has made it clear he will not sell his half of the club to Hicks.

And legal advice has been taken over the possible veto Hicks has to stop Gillett selling to a third party. That could soon be tested in court.

If Hicks fails to raise capital for his US sporting empire - the Texas Rangers and Dallas Stars - as well as the money he needs to fund Liverpool's new stadium, the takeover battle could come to a head by the end of May.

DIC still want to buy, and are prepared to wait for developments.

Liverpool chief executive Rick Parry has pleaded for movement on both sides to break the deadlock.

I'll be getting off work right when  the final whistle should be going (barring extra time and pens) it's my first day back at work after 2 weeks off and I am more nervous about the Manc and gooners in my office ruining the result for me then anything to do with work itself :D hoping for a good match, last thing any of us want is a tight match but I think we are in for one, c'mon redmen, 6 times!!!

Its a 15:45 kick off here, I´m hoping to slope off at half time.

Got to get home and get my 1977 shirt on, its superstition, I cant just watch the game in my normal togs, I´ve gotta have the 77 shirt on.  I woke up yesterday morning (sad eh, not even today) thinking about the game...

Its a big one, come on lads, do us proud, we´re all behind you.
