Both tits then.

Another well thought out, witty and thought provoking post there. You really are becoming funny, but not in a laugh with you style.   :talktothehand  :wwww

Why do people think we will win this match when we were hardly near their goal on wednesday, some people on here really are fecking clueless and Bamaga man, no offense but I wouldn't want to be anywhere near you in a trench either as I prefer people who have a grasp of strategy i.e not risking your best players in a match where the best you can possibly hope for would be 1 point!!

Point proven.

So you dont actually think or care if we win tomorrow Rock and Hiemdall. Some supporters yous two are . Its a premiership game against a top side who are still in with a shout of winning the league, and we are not guarenteed 4th YET. and you dont care.

Yous two dont get it, do you

And another thing im paying hard earned cash to go tomorrow, not to see them be sh.it upon but to win

If we go there with a bunch of kids and Arsenal turn us over three or four nil with their best 11, it'll give them a huge boost going into Tuesday, whereas if our strongest 11 can hold them again to a draw or even sneak a win, it'll knock any confidence out of them and make tuesday a slightly different affair. Lets go with our best team and give it a real push for the final weeks of the season. Let's send a message out to everyone that we are as good as I think we are and put the shits up the league for next year.

at last some sence being posted! feck me the last thing i want to see tomorrow is a weakened side put out.
ffs it would be so detrimental to our preparations
for the 2nd leg it scares me people are even thinking
that tomorrows game doesn"t matter!!  :veryangry
every game fecking matters, starting with tomorrow
the only thing i want tomorrow is a good attitude
from every player, hopefully put in a performance
that justifies any players selection, & hopefully
get us 3 points, then we can start to prepare
for the 2nd leg!!

You´ll be getting a season ticket at the Gooners soon Nanny.

Thingy: this is not the game to give a couple of reserves a run out are you mad? Give´em a game against Derby but Arsenal?? You play older more experiences gods like Riise, Crouch etc.. but dont send on boys ffs, they´ll get battered which will raise the hopes of the harse and do our own confidence no good.

Lordie lordie.....

 different spec tomorrow Reg had to call a favour in for this one.

It drives me mad though how you can get some supposed to be fans on here who most prob have only ever seen us play in a friendly tournament dont care if we loose . Even if we play in a five aside tournement im gutted if we get beat.

We are not playin in a friendly so we can chop and change the formation and bring alot of the kids in were still playing for 4th. Some of these so called fans have short memories

Remember when we did play alot of the second players and yes Arsenal put out there kids we got batterd and i bet yeh the same people slated Raffa for doing it . And yet they want him to do it tommorrow in the prem.

If we win tomorrow it can only help us sychologicaly on Teusday

Once 4th spot is mathermatically guarenteed ill say ok give the kids a game

Nanny, these same fans slaughtered Benitez for not playing Torres/Gerrard against Barnsley at home but they don't want him to play them against Arsenal away.

I admit I slaughtered Benitez for not playing Torres and Gerrard against Barnsley, likewise I'll slaughter him if he doesn't play them tomorrow. Each and every game is important and needs to be treated as if it's a title clinching match.
1) You'll Never Walk Alone
2) pass and move is the Liverpool groove
3) FIRST WILL ALWAYS BE FIRST AND SECOND WILL ALWAYS BE NOTHING.
4) If Torres has scored 60 league goals for Liverpool by the start of the 2011/12 season, I'll say he's better than Owen.

Im not sayin hes defo got to play the full 90 with Stevie and Torres but we still have to put a strong team out not kids , Even if we have Stevie and Torres on the bench we can still field an adequete team to surely have ago at least.
This game is not the game to be bringing kids in.

Its not the team selection that im worried about John its the so called we dont care if we loose tomorrow lot , Thats what im worried about mate that we have fans like them

Whatever anyone thinks about the team, I am pretty sure Rafa will rest some of our key players and Kuyt.

               Reina

Arbeloa/Finnan  Carra     Skrtle     Riise

                 Alonso         Lucas

Pennant               Benayoun         Kewell(is he available?)/ Voronin

                              Crouch

I am also pretty sure we are only 2 wins away from cementing 4th place so it shouldn't be a problem ...... should it ?

Arsenal to benefit from changing face of Liverpool

Gambling and football may have been thrust into the public eye again yesterday with revelations about alleged match-fixing, but Arsenal are surely worth a hefty bet to beat Liverpool at the Emirates Stadium today. By their own admissions, Arsenal want it badly and Liverpool not so much. So lump on a home victory.

It is the second instalment of a strength-sapping three-part series in seven days between the clubs. On Wednesday they shared a 1-1 draw in the first leg of their Champions League quarter-final. This afternoon, Liverpool return to North London for a Barclays Premier League match. On Tuesday evening, it is back to Champions League business, with the second leg of the quarter-final at Anfield.

It is all a question of priorities. With Arsenal chasing the Premier League title, they will field a full-strength team today. Yet with Liverpool apparently secure in fourth place - enough to qualify for the Champions League next season - they will mix and match at the Emirates.

“No, I will not have Tuesday in mind,” Arsène Wenger, the Arsenal manager, said. “I will pick a team which can win the game on Saturday. I feel we have a good chance in the championship and do not want to miss that. For us, it is important to win because of the situation in the championship.

“Some people say the title race is over, but everyone in football has a different opinion. In this case, I have a different one. Manchester United play four times away from home and one of the two times they will play at home, they will play against us.”

Arsenal trail United by six points, yet Wenger believes that the Premier League leaders could falter during the run-in. “We have to win all our games,” he said. “Perhaps five wins and a draw is the minimum, but we would [still] have to win at Old Trafford. Six wins would be better. United are an excellent team, but they can still lose points.”

Rafael Benítez will face criticism if he fields a weakened team today and Arsenal win handsomely, yet if needs must, the pragmatic Spaniard is not afraid to act. Fernando Torres, Steven Gerrard, Sami Hyypia, Jamie Carragher, Dirk Kuyt and Ryan Babel are likely to be rested before the concluding chapter of the triple-header.

“I will need to think carefully about my team for the league match,” Benítez said. “Torres and Gerrard will need to be strong for the second leg and Kuyt ran himself to a standstill on Wednesday. Some players recover in two or three days, others need four. Maybe we will need to change some players. I am expecting to make changes. It is impossible to play these same players three times in a week.”

Babel agreed. “The boss will have to make the decisions on who to start and who to rest,” the Holland forward said. “It will be impossible to play with the same XI in three games against Arsenal. In this situation, I think rotation is maybe good.”

Javier Mascherano, the midfield player, will not play this afternoon because of suspension. He has served the mandatory one-match ban for his sending-off in the 3-0 defeat by United two weeks ago but was handed a further two-match ban after admitting a charge of “improper conduct” for remonstrating with Steve Bennett, the referee.

Liverpool have appealed to the FA against the extra penalty in the hope that it will be reduced to one match. If successful, Mascherano will be free to play against Blackburn Rovers tomorrow week.

Wenger expects Liverpool to play a cagey game on Tuesday, perhaps opting for a goalless draw and a route to the semi-finals on the away goals rule. “They will try to defend and catch us on the break,” he said. “They don't have to come out, but we will try to play our own game and have a go at them.”
