bitter eh?

no mate its tongue in cheek and aimed at the idiots who believe one decent game suddenly makes someone world class, hey i even saw traore have a decent game once.

I have praised kuyt for his performance yesterday but i see you choose to focus on the obvious sarcasm rather than than focus on my praise. weird eh?

Kuyt definitely MOM. It was nail biting but we got the result we needed. Don't want to spoil any fun for this but Voronin got to go and should never play another single game for us ever. He was subbed for Torres with 15 minutes to go. He was just jogging around and watching even if the ball was close to him. I remember when Kuyt missed his pass one time near the outside of the box and Voronin was just standing there and shown his displeasure while not doing anything. He should have ran to the side and try to get back the ball.

We were kind of lucky as Arsenal were all over us. Rafa must do some adjustment for next weeks game. Such as replacing Babel and better marking at set piece. Anyway, we are half step inside the semi final and let's go get them!

Four words to compliment him followed by fifty words or so putting him down so that you feel you are right. He was MOM in an important game (just in case you did not notice). You do not have to have a dig, just leave it as "he played well".

How about wishing he plays this way every game rather than implying it was a fluke.

Haha Chelsea really do suck in the big games don't they?

Good result this morning, but it's not over yet. Question is, should we play for a 0-0 draw at Anfield? Or go for the win?

I can't believe how lucky they were with thier goal. It may well be important to them as they always seem to win 1-0 at home.

Still out of the two I know who I'd have, Benayoun OFTEN goes missing in big games like these. He is weak in the tackle and very lighyweight.

I see why Rafa oped for the swap, but Benayoun was equally wasteful.

F.uck he couldnt even play an easy pass out wide to Gerrard, he was under no pressure. He tried to play Voronin in, when there were much easier options available, and at a time wehere we needed to keep the ball Benayoun opts for this kind of pass.

Most of the time he is a passenger, and blends in with the scenery.  :nod

At least Babel tries things, granted they wont come off all the time but hes more game to give it a go.  :nod

I think that for the majority of the game, Liverpool were quite poor in the midfield (especially in the second half). Alonso was nowhere for the majority of the time that he was playing. The thing was that Liverpool could not generate anything in the midfield or really in the defensive zone. It seemed as if Liverpool were always on their backs and were always resorting to booting the ball away back to Arsenal and when they tried to generate something they would give the ball away. This was a huge problem and if it were not for the strength of the defense the game could have had a different outcome today.

We need to seriously start controlling more in the midfield, holding on to the ball, passing it around and moving it up the field. It was so frustrating see us just hoof the ball away and give it up all the time.

Bennayoun is a better option in the CL on the left than Babel atm.

well when i start giving two f*cks about what you think then I will consider it.

now again for the hard of thinking, the criticism was sarcasm aimed at the num nuts on here such as yourself who totally miss the point of the post.

maybe in future i will have to explain the post in full for the idiots on here.

maybe I should have put a smiley to help you understand,

or maybe you should just accept that kuyt is sh*t,

however I have said in my posts that he played well last night, he was even doing simple things like trapping the ball which is usually beyond him, the fact remains however thats this is possibly a one off so lets not start going down the avenue that he is gods gift to football, his goal was a simple tap in, and why we feel we need to start praising a guy for doing what he is supposed to do, simple things like pass a ball or trap a ball is beyond me.

as for MOM, who decided this? he wasn't in my opinion our best player on the night.

one thing this does prove in reality is just how bad he has been in the past that a decent performance stands out so much.

get rid in the summer. one decent game a year is not good enough
