Rafa will be awesome in a slower and more tactical la-liga ....

Youd think all you christmases have come at once Rock if he went lad .

You wont hold it against him

Nanny if  Shankly could be resurrected would you rather have him as manager or Rafa, I mean how highly do you actually rate Rafa?
I'm fairly sure Rafa will be off in the summer, if he's not then I have a strong suspicion that Stevie will finally leave the club.

Its not about rating him its about supporting him while he is the manager simple. I simply dont see anyone else out there at the mo who could do a better job.

Dont make comparisons with him and Shanks,  Hiemdell i was lucky enough to be standing on the kop lad when Shanks was our manager he was a one off. And to your other point regarding Gerrard going if hes still manager come next season well if Stevie decides to go because of this he can :censored: off an all . I love the bones of Gerrard but he cannot be allowed to hold this club to ransom again . This is not Steven Gerrard football club its LFC

It's rumored that Cruyff has told Barca board that they should get Benitez as a manager for next season instead of Mourinho.  I hope those :censored: stay away from our manager.

Whats the Rafa contract situation, is he booked until the end of NEXT season?

Another reason to get the Yankie.tw@ts out and DIC in.

Reg, if DIC come in then I think they will get rid of Rafa.

I think most people know that Rafa wants to one day manage Real Madrid, as its his favourite club. Having Barcalona on his resume will not help this ambition.

Rafa's topped many a managerial shortlist (according to the tabloids).

I would say because they can afford either Riikard or Mourinho...

mourinho would be a better option as he knows what it takes to be champs. rijkaard would wanna bring in his own players then it will be back to square 1 all over again. first was the french, then the spanish, next we will promise sexy football  :D

but why do u think rafa isnt as good as the above 2?

If Barca come up with a big payout in compensation then I'm not sure it will hurt me that much to see Rafa go, I'd like to see him win the league with Liverpool but I've seen no evidence so far to suggest he's even close. If he starts next season how many games before our title ambitions are shattered? We've spent a lot of money and yet our team is nowhere near the leaders, I do feel the Champions League is a distraction but a big club will be in it more often than not and the Champions of the past X years have had to compete in it and still managed to win the Premiership.

How many seasons of hoping next season we'll win it are we going to accept? We've already gone four seasons without, maybe we should find someone called Vivaldi as our next manager. And don't anyone start on the time it took fergie, Rafa is NOT fergie and he first won the league over a decade ago. Back in that era teams could be promoted and win the league within a few seasons, top players could be bought for £2m or £3m and the mancs won the league because rivals sold them Cantona for £1.5m and Keane for £3.75m. That would be like the mancs selling us Ronaldo and Arsenal selling us Fabregas for reasonable prices. There's no comparison, stop keep trying to draw one. And why do people harp on about the time it took fergie to win it and not the time it took Wenger to - and get under fergie's skin?

Here's a question for those who do play football management games on their games console/PC - if you were managing Liverpool and didn't win the league for two or three seasons would you carry on? If it went four would you carry on? I would say probably not, you'd have failed miserably and would go and do something else or start again.
Never buy from PC World, product quality is poor and their 'customer service' is even poorer
