Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

Postby maypaxvobiscum » Mon Mar 24, 2008 2:10 pm

does anyone realize that he and tevez are currently being investigated by the police in brazil over some issue regarding their previous club's president? maybe it was bothering him.

but honestly its sad that the player who has most desire and hunger to do something about this match gets sent off. and so many of you posters here are now slamming him when minutes before the match started you guys were licking his balls.

support the player through the good or bad times, they are already giving mash sh!t for the sending off and he might be facing more charges. we dont need to add on to it. wtf is wrong with the attitude here.

Just wait till the FA wanna make it more than what it is an give him a bigger ban, Well all be screaming at the injustice when hes missing for not just next week but for a few weeks.

If he carries on behaving like a caveman with no respect for himself or the team then I won't miss him at all. He was winging and whining to the ref all the first half, he absolutely deserved to be sent off, or subbed off if Rafa wasn't dozing! Torres was booked for showing disrespect to the ref, very clever, then brainbox Masch runs over and gets himself sent off, then doesn't obey his captain and only just obeys his manager when asked to leave the pitch, what a guy!!! and people want him to be the next captain, what a joke!!!

I am so sick and tired of the attitude on here that everyone is against us, it's pathetic. We were lucky not to have Carra sent off right at the start of the game and it's only because Rooney is an honest and strong player that we didn't, don't worry I still hate him but I do respect him as a player the same way I respect Chelsea, Arsenal and Manure as far superior teams to us. It doesn't mean I want to support them but I'm not so one-tracked, blinkered and stupid as to not appreciate good football and recognise faults in Liverpool.

Why can't you guys take your heads out of the sand and stop calling everyone who has a different opinion to yourselves disloyal, it is such a boring tired argument now and just highlights your stupidity and lack of imagination and vision!!

What! you mean actually analyse what happened, but then we mightn't like what we find out.

Surely it is better to think that there is some global conspiracy to keep us down and call anyone who disagrees a closet manure supporter.

It states some believe he Done nothing wrong and others believe he was right we all have different takes on it,

What you have said in your reply is a disgrace youve had a go at Torres , Carra, Masherano, and youve even found a bit for Raffa in there,

So you wont miss him at all thats what this teams been missin for years mate someone like him with a bit of fire in there Belly a winner. And as far as him being a cave man with no respect well lets just say im lost for words

He is a fantastic player, of that there is no question and the sending off has not changed that one iota.  But, he was 100% wrong to approach Bennett the way he did.  As it happens I do support the player--I think he is essential to making our side tick and I sing his praises every time I watch him play.  But, I also think he deserves all the stick he gets for this incident because it killed the game for us and it deprived us of his much needed services for the derby (and maybe beyond that if the FA hit him with more for his ill-conceived refusal to leave the pitch).  Sorry but from where I sit, applauding his chutzpah is the wrong way to support a player that made a series of daft decisions yesterday and needs to be told as much.

"Dissent is dissent," said the Manchester United manager. "I don't know why Mascherano came from central midfield to argue with the referee. With all the things that have happened this week with Ashley Cole, there has been a lot of attention on dissent and this was dissent."

Well if there is anyone who knows what dissent is, it is Alex Ferguson. The piece of sh.it hyprocrite. I am not condoning some of Mascherano's actions but hell. EVERY TIME that Manchester United has lost a match, not had a decision go their way, had a poor result, Mr. Ferguson has been up in arms, shouting, jeering, swearing, argueing and badgering the referee. Everytime. Wasn't he even asked to leave the pitch one match?

true enough. but now that the ''crime'' is committed and theres nothing that can be done, lets just move on. he has admitted his mistake though he was surprised as anyone else, but there's nothing that could possibly turn back the hands of time. move on. we know he is better then that.

Unfortunately now that the media is reporting that there is likely to be further action by the FA against Mascherano, the "moving on" period may take a little longer than expected.  :(

Although it was foolish of him to get sent off, I loved his reaction!!!!

I wanna see that run through our team. His obvious passion for that game was evident.

Every player gets sent off and im sure he is the most gutted about what happened.

Pointless and I think stupid to moan about what happened or talk :censored: about him, he gives a :censored: and thats all I care about.
