Problem for Masch after making that tackle he lost his mind.

It wasn't hard to work out what he was saying.

Steve Bennett needs shooting.

Mascher did NOT deserve to walk, Torres did NOT deserve a booking, and that slap-headed c*nt let countless United fouls go unpunished.

The bloke is a disgrace to referees.

As for Pepe - had his defense dealt with the balls, he would not have had to.

Were it not for him, we'd have gone down 6-0.

Have you read back on this thread? Apparently he did deserve his red.  :upside:

god_bless_john_houlding wrote:Benitez---did as he's been asked to do. same 11 in same formation...bad subs though, we're losing so he takes Babel and Torres off ???

not much wrong with the substitutions... we weren't keeping the ball to make any headway up front and babel even though looked good in the beginning was non-existent after masch was sent off... benayoun could keep the ball better than babel and hopefully start some attacks...

as for the substitution of Torres... 8 minutes to go, 3-0 down, he took a knock in his back, several manc players were giving him the rough treatment... what do you expect? it was a smart move by benitez... we'd now rather have him fit for the derby and the arsenal games than have him at the sick bay...

so yeah anyone who says "what's benitez doing... we're losing and he took off our best player" is pretty myopic IMO...

Number 1: Harry Kewell isn't the kind of player to mouth off.

Number 2: If Kewell isn't playing for Liverpool next season, I'm okay with that.

Number 3: I'm the kind of person who will judge an incident on its merits and not worried about things nationality.

Using your logic, Simon Because, you must be Argentinian, and a muppet.

That just goes to show that some people should not be allowed near a computer...

Seriously - anyone who thinks Mascher DESERVED to be sent off for that needs to give their head a shake.

The red was brandished long before he lost his rag.

I think it's high time a player tw*tted the f*ck out of him when he makes such ludicrous decisions.

If they argue, we can defend them by saying "Well if he hadn't sent him off, he would never have done that..."

It seems to work the other way around - "Had Ashley Cole not done what HE did, Bennett wouldn't have sent Mascher off..."

Wanktards.

Try and shake me then.

When Masch got the second yellow, he had been having a go at the ref constantly in the build up.

It was clear the Masch wasn't going to shut up so he had to go.

I didn't know players had to be silent...

Does Steve Bennett think he's some pompous Primary school teacher who demands his "children" sit with their finger over their lips?

Pathetic.

the ref is a f@cking Turd!!!! got pressured by the red nose scum, and he goes berserk on us...f@cking clown. a good ref wont give a card that easy on a big game let alone sending someone off. The only mistake masch had done is trying to reason with that psycho ref.
