Where do I start? Man U never played that well. We dropped our game in every position considerably. Torres couldnt be seen, Gerrard was below par and Carragher was out of sorts. Reina had a shaky performance and Bable posed no threat. With that in consideration Man Utd could only manage a sh.it goal which was nudged into our goal by the back of Wes Browns arm (honestly take a close look at that goal). Mascheranos sending off was a disgrace, a reaction to the actions of Ashely Cole midweek. Losing the only player that looked like he turned up was the focal point to our defeat. Goal number two which came from what should have been an offside call initially. One of many a poor descision from the rabble of complete wa.nk that showed up to officiate that pathetic excuse for a football game. Goal 3, nice finish but the game was dead for us anyway. In conclusion, we didnt turn up, Man U were definatley beatable today but our poor performance mixed with the officials PI.SS poor performance was the recipe for the scum 3-0 battering of us today. I am absolutely livid and need to get pis.sed tonight to make myself feel better.

So pi$$ed off at the moment.

Ok Mascherano should have controlled himself better. That said, Torres' yellow was ridiculous. He had been fouled multiple times (2-3 fouls in the seconds leading up to when the ref finally gave him a free kick). Nando points this out and gets booked. Mascherano sees red and reacts at the injustice of it all.

Man Utd get no yellow cards and they are the more persistent foulers. Meanwhile, Bennett has made a name for himself. This game was being watched the world over and ended up being wasted as a spectacle. Playing 11 v 12 at Old Toilet is hard enough. 10 v 12 is night on impossible when you are already a goal down.

Gutted. The only thing that will put this right is if we beat Man Utd in the CL final.

IMO alonso was very poor today... among him and mascherano, he's suppose to be the link up man between between the midfield and up front to gerrard and torres... he failed to show up for large parts of the game and that is the reason why gerrard disappeared too... mascherano did his job by tackling and winning the balls up until his stupid sent off... but alonso to me didn't do his...

:censored: it mate ill hold my head out for the firing range if it comes to that but I predicted todays result and I was right so im going to stand by this prediction too. I know I sound defeatist but you cant have hope when the squad itself doesnt turn up to play.

you might as well support another team...

F.uck off thought police.   :rasp

PS Anyone just hear Rafa on 5live? He sounds like hes

1) about to cry or

Dont know what game some of you were watching. Reina was a friggn mess. Throwing the ball to opponents, kicking all over the place. He was rattled and shaky.

First goal was a disgrace. Outjumped on a soft cross in his 6 yard box FFS. Dont matter how many times the ball was kicked directly at him. He cost us goals today. He is always erractic and soft on crosses, and paid for it today.

And I'm going against the consensus. Mash had every right to question a bad referee. Bennett came into this predetermined to send someone off for dissent. His first yellow to Mash was a disgrace for a first challenge and studs on the floor. Yellow to Torres no less stupid.

He would have booked the whole team the way that tool was behaving

The scum were not so superior as some make out today. They got all the breaks and a referee itching to make  headlines

Look at their first goal for it coming off the back of Wes BRowns arm though, honestly look at it closer

I'm bitterly dissapointed, we played we'll for about 8 minutes and did pretty much nothing for the rest of the game. I'm upset with Gerrard, not only because he didn't turn up today, but because he showed so little in terms of leadership. I realise he's one of those lead by example captains, but sometimes it takes the mature player in the side to step and take responsibility, i't took the flashing of the red card to call him into action, it was far too late. :censored: manc :censored:

You are so right man .....

I thought it was unfair on us today and just watching ashley coles outbrusts and only being shown a yellow .. either way the ref has a name for himself at our expense again

Alonso was poor today yes.

Although to be honest, he was not the only one. They created too much danger with frontal balls that our CB didn't solve as they use to.

I agree bigmick in his posts, although I wasn't so sure that it was a ball for Hyypia, I only saw Alonso's marking error at first glance.

In the first goal, it's true the opposition man won the action to our CB, I'd like to know if Reina asked for that ball or not, though, I still think he could have done a bit better.

I agree aswell we weren't a disgrace. We were 1-0 down, we had pride, and tried to score. If you do that, you can be battered down at the end. The final score though, is very depressing.

For me , until their first goal we were doing a good game.
