In that case we shall have to differ which is fair enough.
We will differ oh on the point that generalising to the extent where we label those all of us who have expressed doubts about the manager and his methodology as sad c...s is unnecessary. It's not for me a case of political correctness either, it's simply a ridiculous comment.
We will also have to differ on whether or not you are getting carried away. Three weeks ago it was nothing to do with the manager that we weren't playing well and had just got knocked out of the FA Cup by Barnsley at home, "It's the players mate". Now we've got up in a few winnable games (and admittedly Inter Milan as well) and the manager is a genius and anybody who disagrees is "spouting bile, leaving a trail of sh!t in their wake", or a "sad c...".
The saddest part of all if there is one, is that you seem to think that you have the monopoly on wanting the team to succeed. "Real" fans don't wonder about the managers position, they show "loyalty" and "belief". Forget the fact that this particular run of good form has coincided with the manager adopting almost precisely the methodology visa vis selection policy that some of us have been banging on about for years. It makes no odds and why should it get in the way of an opportunity to dish out some abuse?
We will agree to differ alright, suits me fine.
Is this sarcasm, Mick?
No Emerald it's not sarcasm mate. I don't do flame wars and I'm not going to start one with you now. I disagree with quite a lot of your beliefs on the best way forward for the club but that's fine. I'm sure you're a pasionate Red and like me, want the best for the club.
What I would ask though is this. If you are really going to go down the route of talking about people being "sad c...s", "spouting bile", "leaving a trail of sh!t in their wake" and the like, you ought to name those you are talking about. If for instance I said "all those sad c...s who are "in Rafa we trusters", spouting fecking bile about rotation and how it's the bees knees, leaving a trail of sh!t in their wake" there are may people who would take offence, not just the particular poster I thought I might be referring to.
The best way of all in my view anyway is top respect other peoples points of view.
