Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

I'm usually a big Pennant supporter, but his crossing today has been poor (I know ppl are going to tell me its always poor but it isnt) BUT he is still making himself available down the right on a consistent basis, and maybe if he had been playing more his crossing would be more accurate, he is getting them off at a fair rate as well.

Who says Pennant doesn't offer a goal threat?  :D

Just like United would probably look average without Rooney and Ronaldo and like Arsenal would look average without Fabregas and Adebayor.  Daft comment mate, any team would be worse off without their best players.

United w/o Rooney and Ronaldo can still win games for sure. Same goes with Arsenal. They dont look mediocre w/o their best players Their teams are more balanced thats what i mean.

Pennants been very poor, his distribution even under no pressure has been terrible. Riise's been similar, he played 2 balls in about 5 seconds of each other (after the first one came back to him by fluke) and they both went astray, his shot was even worse, would went for a throw if it hadda had the legs.

We've been knocking tho and at least we can say we are 2 up, too many times this season we would be bemoaning 0-0 at half time, still wondering if we are going to score.

Hopefully this is the game were Rafa see's the light as well with rotation - start with the best players, get the job done and then haul them off rather than have to bring them on to chase a result.

Whats the odds on Torres's 3rd consecutiv home hat-trick? Bet they've shortened now with the toon's recent 2nd half history!!
Stu Averill, a wannabe Scouse/Scot. I remember the good times & have faith in them comin back

Beside the Hillsborough Flame, I heard a Koppite mournin, "Why so many taken on that day?" Justice has never been done. But their memory we'll carry on. There'll be Glory Round The Fields Of Anfield Road

F*cking hell!

Look at any side in the world and take two of their best players out and suddenly they'd look "ordinary".

This rule doesn't only apply to us.

I'm f*cked off with some of our own supporters spouting this bollox, let alone hearing it from Mancs.
