I really hope we attack these guys from the start and give them a real beating.  Another Torres hatrick would be great.

We should keep the same formation, but maybe rest a few players for the Inter match...

             Reina
Finnan,Carra,Skrel,Risse
       Lucas,Alonso
Benayoun        Babel
           Gerrard
           Torres

Take off Torres and Gerrard as soon as we put a couple past them.

The game plan for this one must be to get after them early, finish the match as a contest and then rest key players for Inter.  Let's go at them hammer and tongs from the first whistle and look to get at least a couple of goals up on them by half time.  They are in an abyssmal run at the moment and their confidence is shot.  We must capitalize on that from the off so that we can think about bringing off the likes of Torres and Gerrard around the hour mark.

Newcastle scored only 3 goals in February, and 10 against them.  (5-0 Man U, 4-1 AstonVilla, 1-1 Middlesborough)

They are on a pretty big Losing/Draw streak, should be easy pickings.

I think 3-0 to Liverpool, not sure who is going to score.  I have a feeling some players who don't score often might get one in this game.  Torres is scoring though, hot right now.

Put more misery on Keegan. I can easily see us hammering these. 5 or 6 nil for Liverpool. Given's injured, they don't have a defence of any sort of quality. I see plenty of players scoring in this game. Torres, Babel, Kuyt, Gerrard and Alonso.

Michael Owen has already expressed his disire to lead Newcastle out at Anfield, be nice to see him captain the geordie maggotts at the weekend. Also after us taking the three points here, and Arsenal slipping up against Wigan, we'd of closed the gap to 10 points on the Gunners. It's not impossible folks.

2) pass and move is the Liverpool groove
3) FIRST WILL ALWAYS BE FIRST AND SECOND WILL ALWAYS BE NOTHING.
4) If Torres has scored 60 league goals for Liverpool by the start of the 2011/12 season, I'll say he's better than Owen.

We need to be at least 3-0 up with 15 minutes to go.

Then we can take off the best players.

No room for complacency here, people often come on here boasting big scorelines and it usually turns out to be a lot closer. They'll want to change things desperately after a horrendous run under Keegan.

I'll go for 6-0  :D

Nice thoughts but I think Rafa will take no chances with Inter looming large in his thoughts.

                    Reina

Finnan    Skrtle       Agger        Abeloa

Pennant   Alonso     Lucas      Kewell
                         Benayoun
                      Crouch

Maybe he won't be quite as radical as I think, but I expect plenty of changes.

never under estimate any premiership club.  Rafa done that at reading and paid the price for complacency.  Newcastle will make this a tough game because there are too many personal stories in this one.  Three of our heroes return to Anfield and there are other little battles.  We should beat them I agree but it might take a bit of effort and bottle.

With his current form, Torres cannot be dropped.
