I think Kuyt and Alonso are having a brilliant game, there passing has been superb. Skrtl's not let anything dangerous past him. Arbeloa's been good down the side. Babel's been quiet and hasn't really produced a good enough finish (been winning corners at most). Gerrard's been gerrard, Man of the half for me is Xabi Alonso. Babel perhaps needs to liven up a little in the 2nd half.

Carra's finishing needs work

Good first half for us but we should have got more goals. Gerrard has been given lots of room and we should have capitalised on it.

Gerrard also had an effort well saved. We've had chances alright. It's always been the way of these teams coming to us and setting up a wall. They are 1-0 down and have either no balls to come and attack us, or they just aren't capable of doing it, or we are just playing too well to let them. I'd rather they grew a set and come at us so that they'd leave us gaps at the back.

TBH yes babel's been quiet compared to his last 5 games or so , he has created spaces for himself , beat 2 defenders , and put in a lovely ball for gerrard who toe pocked the ball and green saved it . Yes he needs to liven up
