F'king Governement. first Blair says yes, super casino, now that fat f*k brown can just say no... also says that if there is a casino it must

a: close for 6 hours a day
b: no credit card use
c: no free drinks

Whats the effing point? Arent we adults? We cant smoke, they wanna get 1 year smoking badges at £10 a time, dont we pay the highest tax in the world on cigarettes?

Now hes saying we cant bet asm uch in case we get in trouble.

I rememeber last year in london we had the saying 'if its yellow let it mellow' when referring to flushing the toilet.

This frigging country...i really despair sometimes...

In a report published on Tuesday, the government said the benefits of a large "regional casino" could be reaped through "alternative, but equally effective projects".

It has looked at alternatives, such as museums, theatres, retail, commercial and housing developments, and says once potential economic and social costs of a super casino are factored in, there is little difference in the benefits.

I think it is even worse in Britain than here (Ireland) but I hate the way all governments try to manage our lives. If somebody wants to drink, smoke, gamble etc let them off.

Governments are really trying to take all our freedoms. I'm amazed people in Britain aren't that bothered about I.D. cards for everybody(which would have made no difference re the bombings in underground) and DNA records held for all - it'll be like a f*cking prison.

Dozens of viewers have complained that too much rugby was shown on BBC One throughout Saturday.
The corporation received 124 complaints in total over the Six Nations games transmitted between 1400 and 2200 GMT.

The BBC said it realised that many viewers were not sports fans, but stressed total ratings of 15m justified its decision to show the games.

"We are sorry that some viewers felt the BBC One schedule on 23 February contained too much sport," it added.

But in a statement, the BBC stressed it had been a "very exciting" weekend for rugby.

"We realise that not everyone enjoys watching sport.

"But there is undeniably a large section of our audience who do and as a public service broadcaster, we are obligated to cater for them as and when we can."

Viewers saw England defeating France 24-13 in Paris, while Ireland beat Scotland 34-13 and Wales scored a 47-8 win over Italy.

Havent these fecking idiots got anything better to do than complain all day? (says me, on a site, complaining lol)

A lot of people consider complaining a vice or bad habit. Something that is frowned upon and, worse of all, something that needs to be stopped.

I consider complaining as a source of therapeutic relief. Of course, we should not complain too much with certain people, such as with our boss or strangers, but nothing ever changes without first realizing that there is a problem. Also, too much and consistently pessimistic complaining is a sign of a major problem and something definitely needs to be changed.

If you are not in the habit of complaining, give it a try. See how much stress is removed from your shoulders. I recommend that you try complaining to yourself, your best friend, or your spouse. First, try just complaining about traffic or the weather, but try staying in a positive attitude. Instead of saying "the weather is awful", try saying "I hope the weather improves." You will quickly find that just talking about it makes it less depressing.

Next, try getting up on a soapbox and ranting about something that really bothers you, such as gas prices or lack of medical insurance. Just try it. You will find this form of self counseling better than the alternative of bottling up your emotions and thoughts. Just remember to consciously realize what you are saying, how others react to it, and try becoming more positive afterwards. It can always be worse.

But most importantly, try finding some benefit for the complaint, such as "I wish someone fixes that" works wonders for morale. Maybe some good can come from it by motivating change to prevent such complaints again.

Complaining is Good Link

I like to think of it as a demon inside that has to be released ! :D

Think we got problems in this country ?

extract from a recent e.mail from a South African mate of mine .

"....would be great to see you out here for the world cup but I wouldn't recommend it.The country is now a 4th world banana republic with daily power cuts, roads and transport totally f'ucked, food and petrol have almost trebled in the past 18 months, but they are spending billions building world cup staduims which I cannot see being completed on time . People (tourists) will die ,crime and reverse racism is totally out of control,if your white in the new South Africa you're a target. You get mugged for a cell phone, you don't put up a fight and they shoot you anyway. I had to sell my motor (Alfa Romeo) as I've had three attempted carjackings this year , I'm now driving a beat up old van , it's :censored: but at least no kaffir is trying to steal it. I caught one breaking into my house just before xmas , called the cops and they took me and him into custody ! When I finally got home ( 12 hours later) half the stuff in my house was missing , a neighbour tells me she saw some Police putting my tv and other stuff into their car after their mates had driven off with me !!!.
Stay where you are mate and watch the world cup on the telly......."

Guess we're not the only country with problems.

today the girl that filmed the happy slapping / manslaughter incident has been sent to a young offenders centre for 2 years. Meanwhile, Mark Masters, 19, of Parkwood Rise, Keighley and Sean Thompson, 17, of Parkside Terrace, Cullingworth in Bradford, are to serve six years for the 29-year-old's death.

so, when they come out in six years these 2 need to be found and killed. simple as.
