similar player, but I reckon Yossi is a bit more consistent, whereas Luis has got that occasional 'Magic' that wins us games.

Er luis wasnt quick to react ??

Hows about valentines day 2 years ago when we played Arsenal at home and he followed in to score in the last minute. Yet another big game goal.
I like Yossi but so far his goals have been in games that there will be endless chances against poor sides.
Luis scored against the top sides and scored goals from out of nothing.

He may have frustrated but i would love him to still be here.

We all agree that luis is a big game player but , how many big games are there in a season , i'd take yossi any day based on consistency

Benayoun may be more consistant, but Garcia didnt only score against the big teams, i was just using that as an example as so far Yossi hasnt scored in a big game (thats not to say he wont)

For the record Luis scored against any sides, i remember him scoring away at Norwich with a lob, and at home against the likes of Fulham and West Brom etc.

I do agree that Yossi is more consistant regarding keeping the ball and working harder, but as a goalscoring threat i'd have Luis based on the fact that he changed big games.
Lets hope that Benayoun starts getting some match winning goals in the big games then we all wont care.

yossi is like the poor mans luis garcia

like many have said garcia had what it takes to unlock the big teams (which is so important) as this season has shown

so the key is to bring back garcia for big games, and play yossi in the shit ones. that would mean we would win most of our games and win the league

So in a nutshell (and bigmick will love this), we ROTATE yossi and luis. Dont you just love rotation :D

Problem solved, we can all go home now :D

I miss Luis, perhaps its a little hard to compare the two as Luis was here for a lot longer then 3 quaters of a season. Benayoun looks good, needs to get into the game a bit more though.

garcia did my head in but i never wanted him sold.
the ruthless way he was booted out tells you all you need to know about loyalty from rafa.
how ironic the fans show such loyalty to a man who has not one single loyal bone in his body.

garcia deserved better treatment but became just another pawn sacrificed to get to the position of king.

when rafa leave liverpool that man will forget us in an instance if he returns to succes in spain...rafa is not a sentimental man.....8.0 to liverpool in the champions league yet not even a smile from rafa.the man has no passion and his team reflected this.

garcia could not get a game and was on the bench ....rafa has to go i hate him as a manager but really hate him as a person.i only hated houlier as a manager but loved the way his face light up when a great goal is scored, rafa just sit there thinking he's cool when infact he is just cold.

Don't forget two things :
1. Benayoun wanted to come to Liverpool, knowing he will have to fight for every minute he gets to play. Garcia didn't want to fight, and wanted to leave.
2. You all say Yossi is not that good in the big games. Well, due to the holly rotation, he doesn't play in those games much. Take tomorrow's game with Inter. I guess Yossi will be on the banch. Not easy to score a hatrick from there ???
