INTER MILAN vs LIVERPOOL: CL-11/03/08 - 2nd Leg - Build up and Match Discussion

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

Postby god_bless_john_houlding » Sat Feb 16, 2008 11:44 pm

2-0 win for Liverpool on Tuesday, and I'd be surprised if Foghorn didn't play.
1) You'll Never Walk Alone
2) pass and move is the Liverpool groove
3) FIRST WILL ALWAYS BE FIRST AND SECOND WILL ALWAYS BE NOTHING.
4) If Torres has scored 60 league goals for Liverpool by the start of the 2011/12 season, I'll say he's better than Owen.

I think it will be a draw on Tuesday night but we will get through with a good away performance in Milan.

We still have the players and regardless what Rafa is doing, if they cant Get themselves up for a game like this than they shouldn't collect their wages.

Well, this is wrong because apparently Rafa has no wisdom and is a clown. Surely you meant Pako? Or maybe the tea lady?

It's Benitez' wisdom that makes me worry as well, but for different reasons. :D

you forget too easily that you won the CL with an almost untalented team or at least beating much more talented teams; and it happened just for rafa.

you forget too easily that you got a second CL final with an even worse team always thanks to rafa

i would like that rafa got crazy but against barnsley, simply liv players left their minds in the dressing room

no. simply because now we have a great manager. mancini today was able to make inter play 100% even if match against liv is coming, even if livorno is a :censored: team, even if we played with the "second" team, even if the game was finished after 18 minutes.

and your question is not "politically correct". now rafa is in great difficulties so it is very easy to say "no" but, if mancini was not there, i would answer "yes"; rafa is certainly not a loser.

So when we win it's down to Benitez, but when we lose it's down to the players ??? bit biased there pal.

Also thanks to Benitez' wisdom we were 3-0 in the first of those finals. It was thanks to the fans singing their hearts out and the players showing grit and determination why we got it back to 3-3. It was down to a jammy bas.tard double save by Dudek why it went to pens and it was down to the ref blindly spotting Dudek eight yards off his line when the pens were being taken....please stop me when I get to where Benitez won us the European Cup.

Second European Cup final, Benitez didn't play our top scorer in the competition in the final except for the last 10 minutes. In those 10 minutes the said players (Peter Crouch) had three shots, as well flicking the ball on for the eventual goal. Great tacitcs.

when we were sent out in CL by valencia the last year everybody was saying the same things i hear now on rafa, to mancini. he made mistakes in leaving figo out of the game, playing too much defensive. and now i here the same words on rafa by you, guys.

rafa is a great manager; probably his story at liv is over but he remains a great manager and he deserves respect for what he did.
