Uefa is set to revamp the Champions League on Friday with the top three clubs in the Premier League qualifying for the group stages from 2009.
Under the plans, the fourth-placed side will now face a play-off against a team from another of Europe's leagues.

The Scottish champions will also go straight into the group stages but the runners-up face two qualifying rounds.

Previously in England, the top two sides qualified by right and the next two joined the third qualifying round.

It is likely the fourth-placed Premier League side will face a tougher play-off compared to playing in the third qualifying round of the Champions League against weaker opponents.

In Scotland, the champions have previously needed to come through a qualifying round.

I really excited about the Arsenal vs AC Milan match tomorrow, that should be a very entertaining match.  I've got a feeling that Lyon will cause an upset by beating Man U.

I'd love for all of the other english sides to crash out. Especially the mancs and Arsenal, as I feel these two clubs are the biggest threats to our own challenge. We always seem to up our game against the continental european giants, and I do believe we have the upper hand against Chelsea in this competition, though I would still like to avoid playing them once again. Against the mancs and Arsenal it would be the most difficult IMO, so go Milan and Lyon tonight!

i've got a feeling that arsenal will get knocked out unless they can take a good lead to the san siro. ac milan are a lot like us in that they're struggling domestically but always turn it on in europe. it's one tie where arsenal's inexperience could actually count against them it's certainly the game i'll be watching anyway.

united will probably win but it won't be pretty. they never are in europe away from home. ronaldo usually doesn't turn up and they scrape through eventually without really playing well. lyon aren't what they used to be so i can see united going through.

celtic will not beat barca over two legs simple as.

I really want Real to progress so Torres can score at the Bernabeu after we draw them in the 1/4s
