Very bitter in his comments but any other manager bar houllier wouldn't have kept him for so long. The fact that teams like spurs and charlton were in for him speaks volumes of his ability. He is ******!
good player not a great player and we would all prefer xabi alonso a spanish international who was coveted by real as opposed to murphy who could take a good freekick or peno and thats basically all he did or would contribute to the team, good business in my view!
"But I think it's inevitable, when you have such a cosmopolitan club as Liverpool - and the number of English players diminish as the seasons go by - the spirit becomes less and less.
Good ridance.. he knows its a step down .. when we win the laegue and he languishes... somewher with his Enhlish manager and players... he'll dream of wha could of been
Sh*t head he is a footballer beacuse he got his chanve at one of the greatest club's inthe world..
Sour grapes. One min he is looking forward to playing under Benitez then when told his services are no longer required he says he wants to work under a English Manager??

I think he is just disappointed. He is an ok player and did his best. He is not good enough to play in a league winning team but is good enough to play in the premiership.
He was always a world beater vs the scum so give him some credit!
