If sevilla and valencia don't qualify for europe , i think we should raid both their teams and get silva from valencia and the alves diego capel from sevilla

Very interesting to read over some of the old posts! I can't believe I was so niave, along with many others. Hindsight is a wonderful thing though. Also know why I stopped posting here for a while, too many insultingly rude people who just wanted to talk and not listen.  In terms of the coming year, I'm saying nothing, as I will only get it wrong, what in the world possessed me to pick Kewell I must have been drunk or ill.

Reina
Arbeloa
Carragher
Agger
Insua
Gerrard
Lucas
Mascheranho
Babel
Crouch
Torres

bench: Martin, Skrtel, Alonso, Anderson, Nemeth

I've got for no signings because I don't think we'll be in a position to attract any huge names or anybody who can make us any better. That's as good as we can be for next season.

I picked Kewell recently for my worst eleven and got slated for it ! How opinions change.

Many of us got fooled into thinking that Kewell would come back from injury with hunger to win.  I remember seeing him last year vs Charlton and he was absolutely class.  I don't know what happened to him maybe he'll find some form in the near future, but he should still go no matter what in the summer.

Add David Villa, Daniel Alves, Aimar, and a solid, goal-scoring left winger, and we're laughing.

Drogba? A tiny tiny bit unrealistic

Alonso as a left mid? I hope you meant this to say CM.

4) If Torres has scored 60 league goals for Liverpool by the start of the 2011/12 season, I'll say he's better than Owen.

Another guy I'd love for us to look at is Aiden McGeady.  This guy is really good and I understand that he can play on both flanks.  I don't really rate British players very highly when it comes to skill, but this guy is really good.  He could be that quality forward that we need to take us to the next level.

i been saying ages now we should buy him he pure class imo and he knows torres well i hear they love each other.

Seems logic to buy him but he will cost alot more then torres mabye 25 -30 mil but he is well worth that price tag.

Also i like look of argi player sergio Aguero he on utube if u wanna have a look i think he gonna be world class striker and think torres would enjoy playing with some one like Aguero.

Villa i dunno he seems alot like fernado morientes in style he might not play well in prem also he is 26 i think now so say he takes like 1-2 years to learn our english game plus he might not ever learn it 100% seems like the 25-30 mil we have to pay for him a big risk , i dunno mabye its just me but seems risky.

Villa is a ball hog, we need someone who likes to play the game for the team.

Current Strongest Team

Gk: Reina
LB: Aurelio
CB: Cara
CB: Agger
RB: Finnan

RM: Gerrard
CM:Mascherano
CM: Alonso
LM:Kewell

ST:Torres
ST:Crouch

Would like to add an attacking Fullback (Alves, Bridge, Clichy) an attacking midfielder (Menez, Aguero, Mancini, Vaart) and a Center Forward (Van Nistelrooy, Viduka, Benzema). Unfortunately Rafa will again not have a Decent Budget so I would expect no more than 1 or 2 big names this summer.

Viduka would be a good signing IMO, he would come cheap as Newcastle got him on a free and he wants out of Newcastle i think he would partner Torres really well.  JBM there is no chance that HK is in our strongest 11 anymore.
