CHELSEA vs LIVERPOOL: 10/02/08 - 4pm - Build up + Match Discussion here

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

Postby Rockthekop » Sun Feb 10, 2008 1:19 pm

I'll be very surprised if we win this one considering Chelsea's awesome home record, our record away against the big three and our current form (most of the season form).  A draw would be a pretty good result.

My team:

Reina

Finnan Carra Skrtel Aurelio

Pennant Gerr  Mash  Riise

Benayoun
                  Crouch

Rafas team:

Reina

Finnan Carra Hyppia Aurelio

               Mash

Pennant Gerr  Lucas
                          Kuyt

          Crouch

Liverpool seem to be at their best when we seemingly have no chance.

Come on Reds

I'm not expecting much today. I see there's no room for sentiment in the prediction league either, with only three people backing us for a win.
One thing I am expecting though is Kuyt to be playing up front on his own.

A win for sure, Kuyt to score!

Now that would be excellent.

I have every confidence.

I predict 3-1 to Chelsea. We are bad enough at home let alone away.

WUM! GET OUT!

Feck of mate im no wum. Stop being so deluded, our record against the top teams is pathetic. I stand by my previous prediction. 3-1 to Chelsea.

We are just in too fragile a state both on and off the pitch at the moment.

Oh and Man City have taken the lead against the mancs.

I don't want City to win, because if we loose (highly likely) city will pass us on the table, putting us in 7th

Gerrard or Lucas presumably playing wide midfield. Only worry for me is this is a big game for Skrtel, although his pace may be needed against Anelka. Thought we might have seen at least one winger in the team , but at least we do have 2 on the bench.

Good team, just depends on the formation and how they play now!

When crouch plays....it only makes sense to play pennant as he can put in crosses.... ah well....... Hope we win in-spite of this....

could be 4-3-3
        Gerrard        mascherano         Lucas
Kuyt                     Crouch                      Babel

but HIGHLY doubt we would play so attacking, maybe a 4-5-1
