Don't go posting any footage of a 5 year old mate. There are too many freaks and deviants out there, it's just not a good idea.
I've 2 kids and there's no way I'd put footage of them on the web...

lol most kids are not even playing when there 5 so the 1s who pick it up early always look a class above thier m8s

theres absolutely no way u can tell how hes gonna develope

but 4 the good of the club i hope he becomes a megastar (4 us obviously)

I was on a bus a while back and I sat at the back and in front of me were a young woman, an older one (mother im guessing) and a young kid who was stood up on the seat looking at me. He was smiling and messing about so I smiled and wiggled my finger towards his nose. Im not kidding you, the younger woman grabbed him, sat him down on her lap and gave me the dirtiest look you can imagine. I sat there feeling dirty myself, as if I just farted in front of everyone or something !

As ridiculous an attitude it is, it is also a common one.

Latest update. He trained with the kids again tonight and has now been picked to go and shadow the L.F.C kids team at Knowsley, hes been fast tracked ahead of kids who are older and who have been there for a lot longer the coach said hes a real prospect and has all the qualities hes looking for

hes 5 years old for christ sake, the little lad must be under all the pressure in the world and what happens to him if he gets a career ending injury at the age of 16, whats does he do then??

He either has surgery and it proves a success or he never plays again

I know what it's like to see the kids at a young age devleoping their footie skills. I happen to manage my local under9's, Pontymister Youth. My son is 8 and plays(obviously) i don't put him under any pressusre other than the fact i think sometimes he can try to take advantage of the fact the his dad is the coach!
My son has all the ability, touch, shot & control but lacks the application sometimes and thats what fustrates me the most. It's not that i expect him to play like STEVIE G every week but I do expect the effort especially after i stop up from a night shift to take the team to some godforsaken team way up the valley at 10am on a sunday morning. I do think that maybe i'm a bit too hard on him coz he's my son, does anyone have any advice?
i've started to do a website for our team it's only at the beginners stage yet but feel free to have a butchers.

Sleep helps ! Dont worry about the faults but praise his good points. Hes a kid growing up and will realise himself where his failings are. Let time play its part.
