It's been confirmed today that from the 2010/11 season, there will be 39 games for every Premiership side. The newly added game will take place in January of 2011. But unlike the other 38, they will be played outside of England. The games will be played in America, Austrailia and Asia.
All 20 Premiership clubs, will be drawn at random to see who plays who, then another ball will drawn at random to see where the match will take place.
The idea has been created to spread the word of the Premiership round the world (in other words exploit the sport to make even more money out of it)
I don't like the idea meself, as we're already told that players are getting tired and need rests now, so how are they going to feel after having to travel all around the world. Waste of time IMO.
What are you views on this new idea folks?

i'm not sure if i agree with it although it wil be unfair to the lesser sides that don't have many fans abroad as all the fans will be supporting Manuniteed and Livapool!! (sorry to any overseas guys on here).
Another problem with a draw is what if Wigan get Derby in Sydney - who's going to go to that!! May as well stay at home and have no crowd
