we'll finsish top, it's not mathamatically impossible, so we have to stay positive :D

in all seriousness, I think 7th, BUT will win the Champions League to ensure qualification for that next season. Just a gut instinct.
1) You'll Never Walk Alone
2) pass and move is the Liverpool groove
3) FIRST WILL ALWAYS BE FIRST AND SECOND WILL ALWAYS BE NOTHING.
4) If Torres has scored 60 league goals for Liverpool by the start of the 2011/12 season, I'll say he's better than Owen.

Yeah thats a good point. Although its a risky plan at this stage to have to win ti to be in it next year we still must push on for 4th.

I think the players and staff will give up on the league, and concentrate solely on the league, just like it was in 05

I have got feeling we will have good FA cup run this year following the Havant debacle and will kick on.  I also think that we will end up fourth just about with Villa pushing us all the way.   Our run in isnt that easy so will be tough.

I think we'll get around 70 points, and finish fourth by a margin of a win or so over Everton. This is based on us going out in the next round of the Champions League against Milan. Should we beat Milan, then I think we'll finish fifth with about 67 points. I think Man Utd will be Champions finishing with a total of around 86 points, winning it by a win or so from Arsenal, with Chelsea a further four or five points back.

In a best case scenario, I would be extremely pleased to finish within fifteen points of the eventual Champions which given the quality of players which we have available, is an abysmal effort.

:D Just a guesser like everyone else Jon, nothing more and nothing less. I must be honest, i can't be beothered with trying to work out the results of about 100 different games though. I leave that to the market, just go onto Betfair, premiership points and the market is telling you the winners will get 85 points (Man Utd or Arsenal) while we'll get 69 and finish fourth.

There's fellas who bet on there who study every nuance and I base my predictions on points totals broadly on what the market says. FWIW based on that, I think us not progressing against Inter Milan is priced in, purely based on how we have performed in the past if we are still involved in the Champions League. If we've progressed in Europe, the wheels have well and truly come off in the League so its definately a double edged sword.
