This one was around the same time and during the period when the "rotation cuts down on injuries" theory was in vogue. The whole idea was of course cruelly shattered within weeks when Torres, despite being recently rotated picked up a muscle injury.

Perversely, anybody who has watched a game recently could be forgiven for thinking that Torres looks tired and need a rest. We can't really afford to give him a breather of course, as we haven't really got another striker in the strikers which we actually pick who can score a goal.

Ok fair enough mate ,you win the great rotation debate , is that better , Now if you don't mind i'll get back to worrying about the small matter of the future of the club.

Is that an attempt to try and get one over on someone who can no longer post?

Not really my point Igor to be honest. The problems of the club are much more important than any talk about rotation. Believe me I'll quote anything I've put in the thread which is b0ll0cks (bizarrely I've hardly got any posts in there TBH), but it's just that I think the thread has thrown up some interesting ideas, and I'm bored   :D

Not at all LFC, I wouldn't do that. I personally never had a problem with lando although we disagreed about most things football wise.

Anyway I've just read the first thirteen pages and there is some interesting stuff. There are a couple of posts from Paul Tomkins which I thought were b0ll0cks at the time and they were, as well as one over-pessimistic post from me where I predicted we would be out of the title race by Christmas (totally and utterly).

There's an excellent article posted up by Saint which talks about a numbers sequence which relates to the number of changes, as well as the beginnings of Bad Bobs excellent analysis of the number of changes per game. Hanses nailed it though, absolutely on the money for me.

Anyway, even I'm bored of it now so I'll have another go at it next month or something.
