I was born a red a long long time ago and I've sat through the great times and a good few sad times. I want what's best for Liverpool Football Club, not what's best for Raffa, Stevie, Torres or whoever. It is not those people who make up this club, it's the WHOLE package. Players, management, supporters, groundstaff, even the girl who makes the tea !
When I see a member of the team making no effort to respect the soul of my club and failing to learn from endless mistakes I start to get pyssed off. Raffa has not bought ONE players who has improved under his leadership, in fact the trend appears to be the opposite and those who showed promise at first were soon marked as average.
Like any team situation you are as good as your weakest link. It doesn't matter if you are setting bricks, selling ice cream or playing football, if the hardest working members of the team are having to carry the same deadwood week after week it will cause unrest.
For some reason Raffa seems to feel that it is OK for players to play themselves back into form in Premiership games. This just doesn't make sense. The game is about good habits and losing or drawing game after game is not one of them.
No matter how you feel about Raffa no one can possibly justify his team selections or some of his tactical formations. There are players being picked who I wouldn't let on the pitch with a lawnmower. Kuyt obviously cares about his performance but is shell shocked after so many nightmare games, Kewell couldn't give a F as long as he's on the money, Alonso's lost interest in making passes because he knows nothing's going to happen. You can go on and on.
I can't believe that Raffa is doing this on purpose so you are left with the conclusion that he's just not good enough to do the job.
Parry and Moores have shown their true colours and we are lumbered with these parasites from the good old US of A who have obviously slipped a good few brown envelopes to get into this position. I feel that we'll regret that bit of skullduggery for a long time.
So there you have it Lando. I've slagged off some players, the management and the boardroom. Does that mean I'm not a Liverpool supporter ? I don't think so !
Over the years I've supported this club the bar has been raised by the team many times and there are standards we should always expect. There are some players who aspire to these heights but who are being let down by a the carpetbaggers who are along for the ride. Well I helped pay for that ride many times over and if I think someone's mugging me, I'll say so. Half of this crew will be sunnying themselves in distant lands in 10 years. Please God I'll still be here SUPPORTING MY CLUB !

You know the problem i have is with the critasism of RAFA at this particular moment as stated above. Buts lets leave that aside for the mo dawson, lets take the ownerout of the equation and just deal with your sniping of rafa.
Under normal cirumstances critasism is fine , healthy even --as long as its balance but yours isnt. i have yet to hear you say anything positive about RAFA did he sudenly become a bad manager overnight. ok we are seventh in the league but in his first season here he finished in third above WENGER who is as most i think would agree a fantastic manager. Do i need to list his achievments cup wise to you fellas i dont think so.
his tactics, motivation, and other atributes must have been fine then, he must have been a great manager then shurely, so what has happen to him this year.
Well he has made mistakes we all know it, rotation for one but he has corrected that to alarge extent the backbone of the team remains intact from game to game now. And whos to say if he had not rotated we would not be in a worse position its a possibility, all ifs and maybes.
RAFA seems to have lost the respect of some of the players here and consiquently has dificulty motivating and inspiring them, BUT that is not surprising with all the undermining sniping and speculation RAFA has had to put up with the constant talk of him going.
I do not keep going on about the CL and other cups to show what rafa has done but to show he is capable of this again in the future and given the right circumstance he could potentialy be better than he ever was in the past, but he must learn from his mistakes , and we must let him learn.

How long have u been a fan ? In rafa's 1st season we finished 5th behind eversh1t............and arsenal too.
And yeah...we won the champions league that year too...
dawson99 wrote:So nobby, you agree hes having a shocking season and hes lost the respect of the dressing room? sounds like you've joined my camp.
people cannot seriously be happy with rafa at the moment.
Potentially he could be better. Potentially i could win 10 million on the lottery tonight, but i aint looking at speedboats yet.
realistically im skint, and rafa is doing more harm than good to our club this season.
dawson99,Jan. 27 2008,22:56]Rush job, Rafa has brought in a shed load of players in the 6-7 million mark, they lasted around 6 months each if lucky (bellamy for example) . and the players hes buying now (babel played out of position, torres til only recently playing as much as he should)
hes had the money, hes spent a lot, but its all one in one out all the time, no time to build up a team to win things. All we ever talk about is shipping players out to get more in. The reason we are always talking about that is that the management are buying the WRONG players.
now nobby bob if your brain cell can work that out, and stop being so narrow minded, you'd see how bad things are actually going at the moment.

It's 6 million. At the very worst we'd ship him off for 5 if he had the worst games EVER, but he is aproven goalscorer and I personally think he is exactly what we need.

sounds like a good buy. great attitude and all the attributes we need at the club
