Javier Mash  £18.6M including wages , I think its good business all things considered

Not when our side is so devoid of quality players that can turn games and do things out of nothing.

Trying to turn a bit of good news into a f*ckin funeral, unbelievable  :no

Frankly, getting to summer with our best players still with us will be a blessing, and Mascherano is certainly one of our best players.

I think it's safe to say that any additions on the creative front will have to wait until the next window.

Well there you go.

Its the modern game for you.

Im happy its done, the more quality players that are here the EASIER it will be to attarct more.

And Mascherano is a needed quality player that was quite simple to sort out. We got him as opposed to lets say David Villa, as if we are gonna get him in January!

where has it ever said that the fee includes wages... as far as i know its just heresay

no other transfer fees have ever included wages, why this one?

- dont get me wrong, i'd love it if it did! - but i just dont see it

could we really sign masha for £8m (considering the fees of the players you mentioned above)???

I'm just going on what i've read,
even if it doesn't include wages its a bargain,

Just seen this posted on the transfer thread on BBC:

2151: "My mate is hanging round Anfield now and he just texted me claiming he has just seen Ricardo Quaresma get out of a taxi and get ushered into Anfield! He's not likely to make this up so massive coup for Liverpool if they pull it off."

bbc
2126: "My mate Tom was on his paper round earlier and went past the Reebok Stadium as part of his route. He swears he saw Peter Crouch walk into the door frame on his way into the main reception with Gary Megson and Phil Gartside. Watch this space."
