Latest on Sky is that the deal is virtually done , all the paper work is in place and the deal has initially been agreed just a case of signing on the dotted line, they are trying to get Joorabchain on to confirm it but he is currently in a meeting with Middlesborough over the Alves deal

WTF is going on???

Has he been signed or what?

RAWK is contradicting itself...one article says hes signed then the next says he has'nt!

And why if he has signed are they gonna wait till next week?

by the sound of it its just a verbal agreement between joorabchian and LFC but it doesnt have to be completed before midnight like with most other transfers, bit sh.it really thought it would be officially done by now but not by the look of things.

From PA Sport...

PA Sport understand terms have been agreed on a four-year deal, which is expected to be ratified next week.
The deal is expected to come into force in June, when the loan deal for the player expires.
Liverpool do not have to pay for the Argentinian player immediately because the Anfield club already hold his registration.

Carrick £18M + wages
Hargreaves £19M + wages
Makalele £12M + wages

Javier Mash  £18.6M including wages , I think its good business all things considered

Good Good

Getting Mascherano on a deal was paramount.

Alas its good business for January.

Sort out our attack in the summer, swap deals and outright deals should be done.

:idea

My mellow is slowly returning.

Not when our side is so devoid of quality players that can turn games and do things out of nothing.
