SURELY if we are selling Sissoko is for sealing deals like Mascherano one?

This must be done.

I don't care how much people underrate our players, if we want to bring anything better than them we have to bring the likes of Torres and Mascherano. And that costs money. Mascherano's proven worthy of that money so this must be done.

If they don't support Rafa, let them sack him anyway, if he can't have the squad he wants, nor to bring the players he want, they're  wasting Rafa's time and also the Liverpool fan's time.

Liverpool have announced the sale of defender Lee Peltier to Yeovil Town.
The 20-year-old Academy graduate, who has four Liverpool appearances to his name, has been on loan at the League One outfit since the start of the season.

Meanwhile, contrary to reports elsewhere, the deal to complete Javier Mascherano's permanent move to Liverpool has yet to be finalised.

Am I the only person in the world who thinks Alonso is grossly overrated?! I would sell him as I think we could get a good price for him given that he is pretty ineffective despite some obvious ability. Gerrard, Masch and Lucas are good enough.

problem is with alonso is he hasnt improved since he arrived

i do rate gerrard, lucas and mascherano as better centre mids at the minute

nowadays he is too static, doesnt go forward much, doesnt grab the game by the scruff of the neck

for 15 million i would sell him and use it to buy a top class winger

Apart from that he's become a Spanish international during his Liverpool years, has more experience, is a tougher player than the younger Alonso of San Sebastian, and probably has doubled the value of the buy price, I agree more or less your post.

*sigh*

If you think that if you bring Barcelona's Toure's or Manchester's Carricks that would improve what Alonso gives us, then I don't have much to discuss about Alonso. I know we're in a crisis, but we can't think all our players are all shít. These are no times for being happy clappy, but neither to be in panic mode.

If thats the best defense you can give for Alonso these days Sabre, I think we are in more trouble than I realised  :D

I can say a lot of good things about Alonso, but as we say here the oven is not ready for cakes. It wouldn't be appropiate to enter another Alonso mass discussion in this moments of low morale. I don't need this.

I just need a Liverpool win. Better a couple. Now.
