Shearer hasn't lost it all. He was one of the topscorer in the last season. The problem is he's passed his peak. But signing him for a pragmatic solution could be not a bad idea. It's just like when we signed old garry mac where in the rest of his football life, he gave us a maximum contribution and significant outcomes.

i heard about this since 4 or 5 years ago but everything seems to be impossible now becos we doesn't need a striker like shearer but we want some creature like cisse and we got him now in our squad...

shaun maybe a good choice for rafa to prevent the lack of creativity in midfield.
