Murphy is at Charlton for a 2.5m fee.
Real Sociedad confirm LFC have made an offer for midfielder Xabi Alonso.
Owen is still in the balance, and we'll probably know more on that after tonights game.

SOCIEDAD CONFIRM REDS BID FOR ALONSO
Real Sociedad have confirmed they have received a formal approach from Liverpool for Xabi Alonso and that they are prepared to sell the Spain midfielder.
The Basque club announced they had received a bid - thought to be worth £10.7million - in a statement issued after their training session on Tuesday.
"Liverpool representatives have been in San Sebastian where they met Real Sociedad executives," read the statement.
"In the meeting the English representatives showed their interest in signing the player and at the same time the Spanish club expressed an interest in selling the player."
Xabi Alonso had been linked with Real Madrid but with the Spanish giants apparently keen on Arsenal midfielder Patrick Vieira it now appears as though Liverpool, who have also sold Danny Murphy to Charlton for £2.5million, are in pole position.

£10.7m is approximately 15 million euros so it's an improved offer.

IT's as good as €16mil that bid so I'd be surprised not to see Alonso as a Liverpool player very soon. All this maks a nice change to hearing dodgy sounding French players. This guy is doing it in the Primera Liga and is a Spanish International, I like tihs new dawn at Liverppol... now for a central defender and a right winger :D
