Lack of confidence means quick to panic. Rafa persists playing Kewell and Kuyt who are way down on confidence (never mind ability), and again pays the price.

Give Babel a start with Torres so defenders have to defend 2 forwards with great movement, not just worry about some puffed up toady chasing the ball all day and cant shoot on goal to save himself

Or get Mourinho to manage the club.

You just ask Dward or Jonnymac for the signatures, and the avitars you can take your pick from those in your control panel.

The same old story, bad performance, it was an absolute shambles, does now Benitez thinks that he still going to win the title? ????.
The first line up was wrong, with Kewell and Kuyt should never started!!, both were waste of time, the team was playing with 9 players only!, I know some might say that Kuyt's pass made the first goal, but any average forward could have done that.

I just cannot make out the logic behind the idiot Benitez's substitutions, when his team get pulled back to level score of 1-1, he make unnecessary changes to the back four, which was needles, he just wanted to accommodate a start to new signing Skrtel, it was an idiotic move, where in fact the changes should be made to his forward line, where there was no sign that poor and overworked Torres is going to score, I did not expect Kewell or the donkey Kuyt will either !!!, If you want to win the game put on a striker, but not a defender, it is beyond me, a very clever move by Benitez!!!!!!!!.
on the opposite the Villa's manager has put on another striker, and they managed to turn the game  1-2 in their favour, by this time Benitez has realized that Babel and Crouch needs to come on, we were 1-2 behind and we are running out of time, to chase the game, it was well to late.

Why we have to be in position to chase the game, rather than get a comfortable score line in the first place, if the team's line up was correct one, with inoculation of Babel and Crouch, which it should be a stronger starting team, I am aware that Villa did play well, but do have the team to beat them comfortably, only for Benitez!

I just wish we have 11 Mascherano(s) on the pitch, this player is not only worth £17 Million, he worth's a lot more than that, he is a World class, he has handled the whole midfield single handed, with a little help from SG, who was not himself and below bar tonight. Mascherano is so passionate for his team, and give his heart out for the team and his honesty to the club, and I respect and love player like that,  and he remind me some of our old midfield players of the past,  and that how should be the rest of the players like, fighting for every ball, but not like the so many sissy as we have in team today, I cannot say this would apply for Kewell, Kuyt, Voronin, Aurelio, Riise, Leto, and many shitty players like them, who they are only here because of their high wages!.

I just cannot see us securing the forth spot, as there are a very strong competition from Everton, Villa, M.City, and I cannot guarantee our team from not dropping more points in the coming games whether it is at home or away, we still have very tough games coming up, however, the main problem still remain, and it is Benitez. I am sorry if I hurt your feelings, but it is a grim reality.

Spot on mate, as much as I want rid of Hicks and Gillett, tonight reminded me that I want rid of Rafa as well. He just doesn't have a clue. Gerrard was sh1t, sub him, Torres was knackered sub him, Kuyt, well I don't know if he and Rafa has some sort of "special" relationship because I cannot see the logic of playing him, he has no confidence and is just horrible at the moment. Rafa should have brought on Crouch and Babel much much earlier, if not have started with them, then we would have won comfortably. This is just another in a long list of blunders from the tactical genius Rafa, and no I won't go and support another taem and yes if I had the chance I would love to get some coaching badges and manage the team, just to prempt some of the typical high brow responses I usually get.

It seems to be part of Rafas stubborness that he sticks by players and gives them games when they dont deserve.
It sometimes looks like he plays Kuyt just to give him a game in the belief that he will score because the laws of probability say he should...as if Rafa thinks surely he cant miss another sitter today again!
Im gonna be honest and say that i have watched football from all over the world from a very early age and Dirk Kuyt is possibly the worst finishers i have seen. Its so bad its nearly funny..If any defender in the country got as many chances they would probably bury more of them.

I know its not fair to single one player out but in the name of God why does Rafa keep playing him?
Just because he signed him,he cant get goals out of a player that cannot score, its high time Rafa admitted to himself that Kuyt is a major flop and there is more chance of getting blood from a stone!

Flog him on...problem is who would buy him?

I was at the game tonight and i thought the inclusion of kewell and kuyt was a bad omen from the start, rafa does not do himself any favours by selecting these two muppets....and it looks like we are stuck with both of them for the rest of the season. Its obvious rafa wont be given any more transfer money by the "two lying yankee b@stards" and he is being told he cant sell any of the players he might want to, i thought the protest inside the ground was excellent tonight...i think they got the message over, those two cowboys wont be able to show their faces again at anfield.   :no

We were playing for forth before the game and we are playing for forth now, i cant believe some of the sh!te on here tonight. This isnt great but would it be all rosy had we won? Last season no arsenal fan thought they win it this season, finishing way off the pace from start to finish and losing their best ever player. My point, we need to keep working hard and stay focused we have young players who will improve like arsenals and if we lose a few glory hunters in the meantime good.

disagree with people saying kewell shouldnt play

he is the best option we have as a left sided mid

he isnt great but that says it all, because he is our best option
