Van Basten did warn Babel about coming to us. I dont think its as simple as wenger just telling his side to go and play as I dont think many of our players would be good enough to play in his arsenal side. U still need v good players.

4/6 from a team that will be in the UEFA cup ain't bad. Don't think we deserved to draw tonight, but maybe we didn't deserve all three at Villa Park.

Right firstly I didnt say we ''get'' Eboue ...

I said that certain players who play for THE Teams I hate to mention are reaching higher player stats than ours and my point was that HOW many of OUR team could walk into theirs....

We are a feckin joke lately !! The Name of Liverpool football club i mean !!!

This Hicks and Gillette have ruined our club, it all stems from the board and runs down hill, next with Rafa then the team..

Rafa looks a broken man at the moment, you can only take so much, it wouldn't surprise me to see him walk away, and say enough is enough. He looks run down and totally deflated with it all.

What would have happened if D.I.C. had bought the club in the first place, would we be in this mess ? No i don't think so cause Rafa would have had mega bucks to bring in the likes of Alves, Manccini, Villa, Queresmo etc The players we need to compete with the top 3 teams Kuite, Kewell, Veronin, Benou, Arueillio, Pennent, come on would they get in a manutd Arsenal, Chelsea, squad never mind there team.

We were promised the world by these two muppets when they took over our club, yeah we have Torres but come on we would have prob spent that with Moores still in charge. Our squad is not good enough.

We have a top class spine to the team in Reina, Carra, Gerrard, and Torres, Add to that players we are crying out for in the class of Alves, Villa, Queresmo, Manncini, Add to that Alonso, Masch, Aggar, We would have a team to compete with the top 3 with Arboloa, Lucas, Babbel, and other top fringe players we would be complete, but until we are able to buy players !!! Not a player!! (TORRES) for fees in the region of 15 to 20m etc we will not be fighting for this premiership title. Manutd, Chelsea etc do it. The Yanks we all thought would be going out for these so called class players and bringing them to our club,

So this season we can kiss everything goodbye, Inter milan will be rubbing there hands at the prospect of facing us.

A top 4 finish is looking more and more dodgy !!

Rafa is feeling the pressure more and more and its rubbing on our players....

Best we can hope for now this season is D.I.C now to come in save our club from even more embarresment from the YANKS and give Rafa or whoever next season mega bucks to go and purchase class players to play for our club and then only then will we be a Liverpool team again playing with flare and guile to push on towards winning a title we so all long for!!

This season is just a joke and i can see it getting worse before it improves!!!!

It hurts¬!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think it was a good game towards the turning point .

We controlled them all match but we still lack some quality up front .

Our team was average but we played well so take the positive DO NOT blame Rafa ( super sub ) ....

I thought the 2 goals were jammy, Harewood scoring :no

and a Luton type goal again :no

.

Just have to sit back and hold on and pull through our bad luck .....

i think wenger can turn ok players into great footballers

flamini when he arrived was your run of the mill tackling centre mid now he is great on the ball

walcott has improved vastly on the ball since joining arsenal

adeybayor (el donkey) when he arrived is now a top class attacker

cant think of one player who has progressed under rafa (agger? think he was pretty good before he joined us anyway) (arbeloa maybe looks a bit better than when he joined)

no drastic changes though

Its true although I aint sure walcott will make it at arsenal. I dont think his progressed that much and speaking to arsenal fans who go week in week out they aint that confident that he will make it as a regular arsenal starter. Adebayor has come on leaps and bounds as has Flamini. Wenger must see something in them though and knows he can bring them on.

Babel needs more game time and be given the freedom to express himself. He may make mistakes but which young players dont. I would much rather see players trying things than not doing anything out of the ordinary.

if Man U or Arsenal continue their current pace of points per game they will finish on 89 points. If we win the rest of our games we will finish on 88 points, which should be enough unless either of them go on an even more blistering pace
