Seriously I can't believe the number of people who think Shearer would solve anything at Newcastle, I guess he's a geordie and they're too dim to realise birthplace of Newcastle on a CV isn't going to make them a great manager. If you think it's bad at Anfield at the moment, spare a thought for the biggest club in England - well the north east bit, maybe

come on mate im from the toon :D , seriously tho I don't think Shearer can solve anything there. I've spoke to a few who wanted Bobby back and pointed out that they once wanted him sacked as well! it is ludacris over there but I don't feel sorry for them at all because they call for every manager's head at least once a month.

Did anyone read the report linking them to Houlier?
