S@int what do you mean by binaries? those of usenet?

Azureus. Informs the trackers properly, it uses more resources than others, but it's more reliable. It has two modes, advanced, to tweak everything you want, and a simple one

Cheers Sabre, I'm giving bitcomet a go at the moment, can't say I'm impressed with it. May well give Azureus a try later this week.

I use utorrent myself Woof and have no trouble with it. Download it, install it and then just google "utorrents best settings" and you will get some dude on a forum somewhere who will run through how to set it up step by step.

Its handy enough and dosent take to long.

Mine is going really well

Hi Woof I've had the same problem with uTorrent for a few days.... I think it may be your isp.  Some of them have started blocking down & uploads from P2P sites.  My isp is part of Tiscali and they are on the list of isp's that block.  Well when I say "blocking" I mean you're basically getting very very slow downloads if you're lucky where one cd would take you 2 weeks to download.

List of ISP's that are restricting

Its basically a list of bad isp's.

The answer is to change isp.. which is what I intend to do very soon.

Hmmm. Many ISPs especially in France tried to block the common ports used by some P2P apps.

Before changing ISPs, go to the options part of your client and use different ports, that might to the trick.

You can select any, as long as you can open and close ports.

Thanks for all the feedback lads.
I've fiddled about with BitComet and after initially being unimpressed it's now doing a reasonable job,(downloaded two 350MB files this morning in less than 30 mins) .

While I'm on , anybody got a good link for a "Casino Royale dvdrip" torrent. Have tried two this week both were apparently corrupted.

Do you want high quality

High > 1Gb

Or

Simply good

You can rely pretty much mininova because in that page you can see the comments. If the comments are positive, then it's a safe download.

P.S. Download the lower one, the upper one takes 1Gb but it's not that much quality, it was a release short after the movie was in cinemas.

Casino Royale torrent is on page 9 of the axxo site.
