If we all stand together with one voice and let the owners know that we back the manager, and resent the way he's being treated, we can become part of the solution.

What I fear will happen is fans on all the phone-ins start buying into the press hysteria about potential replacements, the odds that he'll leave etc, and before you know it that's what every news piece related to our club becomes.

So, if a bloke with a mic stops you on the way to the game tonight looking for vox pops for a radio news or Northwest Tonight piece, don't give them a quote about who you'd like to be our next manager, give them nothing but your wholehearted support for the guy that's still in charge.

true but the thing is mate it dont look like press hysteria, the owners are doing this to the club, i would not be shock if Parry did come out and say that, he is just building up his money till he can off it to a place in the sun. he knows what side His Bread Is Buttered.

That's weird, because from where I'm sitting it looks exactly like press hysteria. News stories talking about the odds of Mourinho becoming the next manager, no doubt every paper in the land talking as if he's going to leave, etc, etc.

I'm not denying that Hicks and Gillett have lit the fuse, but now we have to decide whether to smother it, or if we're going to be part of the bomb going off.

I'm not at that kind of low ebb, but I know exactly what you mean.

I can't remember a more uncertain time for the club, that's for sure.

Raffa if he is still here after the next couple of games it will be amazing.

Had a look at the press statements and if rafa does leave he has my total support for what it is worth. the club have treated him disgracefully. he is a proud man and this must be pushing him to his limits.

JM story not going away either what a kick in the gonads that is as well.
Why don't Parry H&G just bend Rafa over in the KOP on Tuesday night, pull his large pants down and spank him until he cries like a girl. Then once they have done that

WE CAN ALL KICK THE :censored: OUT OF THEM ANDSTICK THERE HEADS ON POLLS FOR THE CORNER FLAGS

:help

I really don't know what Rafa has done to justify him being thrown out at all. We are the most in touch with the top that we have been for a few seasons and I would like him to be given the chance till the end of the season. We often finish strongly and I can't imagine that all this speculation is helping much.

That said, I have always had a gut feeling that we'll end up with Mourinho at the end of all of this. We're the only high profiile club likely to interest him as we have a foundation to allow improvement, with the finances if necessary and an undeniable history and fan base. We're the ideal club to shove it up Chelsea. I don't think he wants to manage outside the premiership....he's waiting for the right moment to get back in the premiership.

I never ever thought that LFC would be in a situation like this...this is what other clubs do....not us. Sad days indeed.

I was thinking more along the lines of how can you possibly compare those two tragedies with a comment made by a yank? Even if true there's no comparison

i think ciggy is possibly refering to how it's making her feel inside, not really the scale of things in  a comparison against the 3.

Simply a disgrace to come out with comments like these :no . Are they trying to force Rafa out ffs? This will only create further insecurity not only for Rafa himself but also within the squad. Yet another black day in our history brought to us once again by our lovely sponsors  :unclesam: and :unclesam:

The team must be well :censored: off, with a bit of luck the back room staff can get on with the team and get ready for the luton game.

only way to really answer the critics is to wallop luton tonight then mount a serious charge to the top. picking up the european cup on the way - easy. :D

At this point I'd be grateful for a win of any kind tonight. I really do fear that morale throughout the club is in tatters right now.
