There is absolutly no point in another march of support, because all they are interested in is $.  The only way to hurt them is not to go to the match.  Imagine the team running out to NO fans, apart from the away support.  There would never have been a statement in world football like that before and if we where all standing outside the ground telling the yanks to F UC K right off, they may get the message!

i agree- it's a tough stance and one i wouldn;'t normally take as the players need our support- however in the long term they will only go if they see it'll hit them more financially if they stay. We need an ex-player to come out and rally the fans as Moores and Parry don't seem capable. (not that Parry ever did - i'm surprised by Moores though)

I cannot believe what is happening to our club, it is a joke being played out in the public eye. We have two crafty lying c#nts as owners and do not even get me started on Parry and Moores. :veryangry

Any press conference Rafa does now will turn into a circus.  The press will not care about questions regarding the team and opponents.  They will just want answers on jurgen klinsmann.

Facts are these days new owners of clubs want to put there own men in charge.  It may not happen straight away but usually does happen.   If DIC bought the club tomorrow they as well could want to get rid of rafa and put there own guy in charge.

How about meeting your own feckin manager who has been to two CL finals how things work.

God Im so angry.

Its all about image with the yanks, JK is a clean cut, football hero (in their eyes) and now he is out of the frame they will probably look for another all hype personality, would'nt surprise me if they were sounding out Beckham :D  :O  :O

Parry and Moores sold the club to the yanks.  I think they are just as responsible.

I think rafa should go but not like this.  This is just a comedy of errors.

DIC are noted for supporting the management team and leaving them in charge when they take over a business. I doubt that they would try to change the manager.

I think the key here is exactly when Rafa found out about Klinsmann being approached.

If the answer is this week, or worse still, today, then for me he has no option but to walk, as that's a huge affront to the man.
If however they told him in December, and discussed how to manage releasing the news to the press, then they may well be able to salvage the situation.

I'm very interested that Hicks spoke specifically to the Echo, as that to me indicates that there is some kind of method behind this madness.

I dont think keeping management in charge of business is like keeping a football manager.  DIC wanted to get rid of parry didnt they?

I do not think that Rafa is going to walk over this. I truly believes he loves managing Liverpool FC too much and appreciates his support and the fans too much just to pick up and leave due to this rough patch.

But why even do all this.  The klinsmann stuff was all rumours and speculation and the yanks didnt have to confirm or deny.  Jurgen has got a job now so they could of just not said anything.  Even if it they did agree on a plan to release it to the media they must of known that all whats going to happen now is a media circus not giving rafa any escape from the pressure on his position.

Under Mr. Al Ansari, Dubai International Capital has developed a strategy that involves backing incumbent management and in investing in the businesses it acquires. This approach aims to give Dubai International Capital the best chance to deliver value in the long-term and make a good return on its investment.

I am not a great fan of him but there comes a time when you feel the owners of the club are just picking on him now to make him leave so they dont have to pay him off.

Is that true?
