Simple answer is no. IMO, sacking Rafa will set us back five years and potentially plunge is into a nightmare scenario of no champions league football for a few at least a few years or worse. It's taking time, but Rafa is slowly finding us the players we need to take us in the right direction towards not only winning the PL, but the CL also.

Rafa can not keep his job by holding a gun ot our heads by saying that if he leave then somwe players will go with him.

It will be down to the new owners and new manager to keep the players and they will.

If the spanish brigade leave with rafa....then they can fuk off....

Yeah...it would be hard to replace reina and torres...but this club is bigger.

The way i see it...rafa ain't as headhunted as he thinks he is...i can't see him going to real madrid. I mean they sacked capello for playing boring football. So why would they hire rafa...?

I think rafa might go back to valencia or even real socided...  :wwww

rafa would last 1 season at r. madrid.  They wouldnt accept the negative boring football where emphasis is on defence. players like robinho probably wouldnt get a game under rafa.

Hence why they made two approaches for him.

I dont dispute that.  But capello won the league and was still given the boot.  I think the same would happen to Rafa. Real Madrid have a tradition where the team has to play a certain way.  Watching the side play like they have done this season its scary to think what rafa would do to that side.

They were so unconvinced by Rafa's style that they made two approaches for his services.

whats your point. Capello was given the job twice.  He won the league last year and was sacked. Why? Cos the style of play wasnt acceptable.  Capello has always been this way yet he still got the real job but even winning the title didnt save his job.

FFS Real madrid will not sign rafa....those rumours were spread by rafa's agent....  :idea

One assumes that they don't view his style as negative, or boring, otherwise they wouldn't have been so persistent.

Boro were at home today and they looked like a bad team yet apart from the last 10 mins they were very comfortable against us.

Gerrard didnt look interested until we scored

Time to face facts, Liverpool are a few players short and a manager short of winning the premiership

Man Utd Pounced today knowing Arsenal dropped points !

There isnt a goal between Kuyt and Voronin, its really shocking that Peter Crouch doesnt even make the bench ! WTF and to be honest finishing in the top 4 is beyond us, we have yet to play Arsenal, Chelsea and Man United away... im sick and tired of dissappointing results against awful sides like Boro. We were lucky against Villa, Wigan and Derby :S

To add insult to injury Everton are on the same points as us !

Rafa needs to do some soul searching and figure out WTF is going on ....

You sound more xenophobic with every post.

feck off......

me....xenophobic ?

I am keeping it real...if u have problem with that....u can feck yourself.....

Keep it civil....

You give Sabre shit for supporting us, you persistently have a go at Rafa, and his 'broken English'.  Then you hypothetically tell the 'Spanish Brigade' to fuk off. Your posts have a definitive Xenophobic tone to them - that's not 'name calling', that's just 'telling it how it is'.

Name calling would be telling someone to feck off, or to feck themselves.

a)sabre
I give sabre sh1t for saying LFC were in sh1t before rafa came aboard. But i think its cool between him and me...cos i haven't argued with him for a while now....He is a great poster here...i give him that. But i didn't like it..when he disregards our recent history under houllier...But apart from that...i am cool with him. I might be harsh with his RS connections...but i admit i was wrong there... Now..i'm cool with sabre..so don't start a war here...

b)broken english
I am just telling it as it is.....rafa's english ain't good...so he should ask someone to give interview won't you think ? it ain't easy on the ears....

c)spanish army
I told the spanish brigade to feck off if they wanted to leave once rafa goes..... FWIW...i really do think reina and torres are the best in their positions in this league now..hope they don't leave at all. But if they hold the club to ransom if rafa leaves...they they could feck off as well.
