You say you want Rafa to have two more seasons at Anfield, If we don't even challnge for the league (as we are in danger of doing) this season and next season, but finish 3rd or even 2nd would you still keep him??

where do we draw the line? easy mate... progress... and not the progress that you imply by the league position... it is more than that and it will be very obvious to see... 6 years should be enough for rafa to build a team that has AT LEAST the same quality as the mancs, the arsenals and the chelseas... and should also be genuinely challenging for the title...
if at the end of 6 years we finish 2nd but are nowhere near winning it then of course he should go... if at the end of 6 years we finish 2nd but were unlucky not to win the league, let's say missed out on it by 1-3 points... then maybe he should stay... it's all common sense...
of course at the end of the day it all depends on the owners...and if you ask me, if i were the owner I'm a very patient owner...
