i honestly think mascherno is italy bound

cant see another prem team paying 17 million

arsenal dont need him, man utd have spent big in the centre mid area recently and chelsea dont need him either

cant see anyone else attracting him in the prem

I'd say he's not worth it, had the scum not paid such astronomically dumb fees for Hargreaves and Carrick.

In that climate, Mascher is worth about £80m. :D

If Alonso was worth a £15 to 20million new contract, I am pretty sure Mascherano is worth £17million. £9million Transfer plus £8million contract. Sounds a bargain to me.

so is that 2 years up front paid ? or 3 ?

I was presuming 4 years but I don't know.

Martin Tyler on Sky said the trip to Anfield will keep Luton alive "for a few more days"

They are really in that much trouble?

What if they go bust before the match even takes place?

Surely the £17m is the fee his owners want?

That would mean a total outlay of £25m at least.

No mate, Rafa has said that its £17million including wages, after they initially wanted £17million plus wages.

I must have missed that.

If that's the case, and he's actually up for £9m, then the yanks would have to be meatheads to let him go.
