Thats true.  Its very worrying that I am not surprised by the poor football.  The Football is awful.  Painful to watch.  Today's game is not just one of those things.  The form has been poor for a few weeks now.

yes i know i will get stick for that.

Think yourself lucky you're not within striking distance.

How the f*ck was that Rafa's fault?

1/ HE PICKED THE TEAM

2/HE'S THE ONE THATS SUPPOSED TO MOTIVATE THEM

3/HE PICKS THE TACTICS (if we had any)

4/HE BOUGHT KUYT

5/WE DIDN'T WIN SO ITS HIS FAULT   :D

Yep, you're absolutely right - he was on the pitch and just played W*nk, didn't he?

Rafa scored the own goal.

Rafa made the strikers play sh*t.

Rafa gave Luton the energy to give a performance above themselves.

Rafa, Rafa, Rafa.

You're beginning to sound like a broken record mate. Face facts - managers can't do a f*cking thing about players having off-days once they're on the pitch.

I seethe Kuyt bashing has started again.

You're all right, it was completely his fault. The rest of our players were committed, composed and oozed class. It's all his fault we didn't win.

Let's be fair, Kuyt played shite but so did everyone else. Carragher did OK and Itanje didn't make any real mistakes. Other than that there wasn't a single player who played anywhere near Liverpool quality. I wouldn't mind if they just had a bad game but they weren't even trying.

What summed it up for me was a Lucas run down the left. He was chasing a ball and the Luton defender slid in, full stretch, to clear it. Lucas' efforts? Did he go crunching into the challenge? Did he try and block it with all his strength? No. He skipped over him out of the way.

The team, as a whole, were pathetic

its the FA cup 3rd round at Luton on a dark Jan night.

one of those things

I think so too.

We didn't play well obviously, but Luton were massively up for this game in a small crappy stadium in front of rabid fans.

At Anfield, we'll finish them off.

Its not just an off day though is it. There has been many a time this season where we have been average.  The football is poor.  Our league position tells u that we havent been great this year.  Our form in the CL has also been patchy.  Ultimate responsibility lies with the Manager.

why? ??? he is the Manager
He tell's them how to play, he picks the team up when they are down. The press is getting to our players.

Liverpool fc should come out and say that he is staying and get the press off the manager and players, if they dont do that then get rid of him now and put a new mangerin place and get a fresh start.

we had 2 big names out, we are Liverpool and we are bigger than just 2 players.....and one manager.

Yes, you're right - he told them to play like a gang of c*nts, didn't he? I bet that was his exact philosophy before kick-off and at halftime.

My God - get a f*cking grip lad. Ever considered the possibility that certain things are outside of Rafa's sphere of control? Like the Luton performance?

Did you miss the fact that they were pretty good today? Let me guess - Rafa's fault, right? He allowed them to play like that.

I agree that the two yanks need to make a statement saying Rafa's here to stay and all the tabloids can go and f*ck themselves.

I agree with that.

Lando no disrespect mate but sometimes you speak like your lips are stuck firmly around on Rafa's c0ck, every supporter agrees to disagree just let people be without all the degrading and sarcastic comments.

Even if the Yanks publically say Rafa is staying that doesnt mean anything.  Thats just the vote of confidence and usually means the manger is on his way.

But we ARE talking about a one-off performance.

And we were unbeaten for months, we have qualified for the lat 16 of the Champions' League, and should we win our game in hand, we'll be back in 4th.

Not the end of the World, really, is it?
